Like the device. Water resistant, easy to use, decent app. Like call and alert notifications.
Don't like display on your wrist. Needs to turn 90 degrees to read like a watch. Also have the app hang sometimes so need to reload once a day. Battery life good if you don't have too many alerts running it down.

I like that it is easy to use with the band extremely light. The scrolling was useful to read all the notifications. However, the notifications were spotty and the tracker was not very accurate. I would end up restarting it many times to get the connection working for the notifications . More apps will make this better to use. The touch sensor is not very good. I would need to tap it numerous times for it to respond.
Battery life is pretty good.

I love this thing. Being able to see my text messages without having to look at my phone is great. Same with whoever might be calling. Don't really understand all the app linking but I'm sure that is good too. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't track what "kind" of sleep you get, only the amount. However, this is a good feature because you don't have to wear it to sleep and you can track it using your phone as opposed to just on the device. You get weekly stats that make you realize how much more activity you really need to do to make those steps!

This fitness tracker is a decent buy for the price but it could be better. The pseudo-smart watch functions are somewhat handy. The band is at least as comfortable as the Fitbit flex. The only downsides I've found is a relatively inconsistent battery life from charge to charge and the tendency to un-sync even in close proximity to my phone. Also the pedometer and sleep tracker could be a little more accurate.

This is a good fitness tracker that you don't spend a ton of money on. I got it on sale at a great price and I love it. The only thing I dont like is it doesn't seem the most accurate with stairs and its limited to what programs are compatible with it. Definitely recommend.

I love my new Striiv fitness tracker. Just plugged it into my computer and it was ready to go. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I wish there was a vibrate warning when the charge left was maybe 25%. I charge it about every 3 days but sometimes forget to overnight and then I have to charge during the day.

Battery life could be better, and touch screen works when it wants to. Also I have to reconnect it to the phone for syncing quite often. But compared to the competition, it's not bad, much cheaper and you get the same notifications, i.e. phone call, texts, calendar events will come thru.

I truly love the features on it yet when it came to tracking was not accurate at all when comparing it to fitbit one. But a big plus for me was that it was water resistant. Would have not returned it if tracked better but everything else was great.

Striv monitor works great. The band is hard to put on and the sleep monitor is not very informative, but the step counter works well. I wear it every day.

This product is great for tracking steps and simple to use. Only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that it needs to be connected to the app daily in order to keep the time up to date. Otherwise it falls behind as a watch.

touch screen is frustrating--sometimes i had to slap my own wrist to get it to respond.
freezes sometimes and doesn't update steps.
band is really annoying to get the hang of.
charging box also annoying bc you can't just rely in mini USB adaptor...instead you need the box that goes with the striiv
sleep "tracking" feature is such a sham. it doesn't track the quality of your sleep, instead it's basically just a timer that you turn on and off to "count" the time you slept. that's useless!

I had a fitbit, and wasn't happy with the difficulty in monitoring progress throughout the day. I like that with the Striiv I can see where I am at any time. It is easy to put on and syncs with my phone easily. I get warnings when the battery is low. I'm not sure about the accuracy. Yesterday I pulled weeds, and I believe it thought I took a step for each week I pulled, lol! I use a pedometer when walking, so don't depend on this to track my miles and speed, but I do like knowing total steps (approximately) that I am logging.

I wanted something that tracks my health life. It does it's job, pedometer, distance, sleep, it tells you all. However, I do find it frustrating with the double tapping (in order for it to turn on). It don't always work. Battery life is not great. I find it inconsistent especially if I have to charge it during the night or day and then miss out on what I could be tracking per pedometer, sleep, etc. I do wish the time would just permanently stay on the screen instead of me tapping each time since I'm in the medical field and constantly using time as my guidance.

It doesn't sync with android systems below a certain level, but it does have a fairly good system for keeping track of steps and calories and it syncs with my fitness pal quite well too. The notifications are nice as well and I like the screen size.
Only issues are that you have to take 30 steps for your steps to register and it has a slightly tricky screen for turning it on.

I was just looking to get a simple tracker that 1) I can see a display of steps or distance, 2) Display showing the time, 3) sleep monitoring, and 4) an app that collects the data. The Striiv proved to be capable in all four regards. I have noticed that one drawback, which may be with many step trackers worn on the wrist, that steps may not be fully accurate due to the movement or nonmovement of the arm. I found that having the tracker in my pants pocket did a better job of tracking steps. Also, there had been complaints on the strap coming loose, but if you do fasten it fully as described, it does not come loose. It is a basic steps tracker and does monitor sleep movement as well. The app has been easy to work with. For my needs, I am satisfied.

With everyone now tracking their steps, I was looking for a basic tracker that would also get me in the action. The Striiv touch was my choice, on sale at Best Buy for $47. It does pretty much what it said it would do. I was able to load the tracking app on my Moto X cell phone. The tracker syncs up most of the time with the phone. If there is a problem, I just connect the charger and it syncs right away.
I have been using it for a week now and the device tracks my steps and also sleep habits, which is interesting to observe on a daily basis. I found that the steps may not be as accurate when wearing it on the arm. If the arm is not moving, it fails to track a step. I have been putting it in my pants pocket where it does a better job of tracking steps. It does work to communicate messages from the phone, but I chose to turn off this function. The battery has been lasting up to four days which I thought was pretty good.
Overall, it is doing what I was looking for from a first time step tracking device at a price I was looking to pay.

I bought this for my wife, wasn't sure if she would use it. She loves it. She's able to get incoming calls notification and text message alerts. The pedometer is a bit off but close enough. She loves the fact that at the end of week she can review all of her steps and sleep metrics. If you're just getting into the wearable tech this is a great first step.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. It was more in my price range as well as a starter. Wife absolutely loves it. Especially when it prompts you Facebook status updates from friends. But like I stated, it's a good starter instead of the higher priced ones that have more features.
