Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this more as a functional shelf ornament and not as a HiFi component, and as such it performs as expected. Sound quality is adequate for casual listening but it completely lacks any form of output connection, not even a headphone jack, so you are stuck with the sonically limited internal speakers. Build quality is not too great; the tape transport mechanism and CD lid both feel like they are about to snap and the handle almost broke off just getting it out of the packaging.
