I ran across this magnifying glass online and purchased it for use in my electronics hobby shop. While it looked like it was pretty well made I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box to find a solidly built quality magnifying glass. The glass has minimal distortion while making it easy for me to see tiny electronic components. The device is held firmly to my work bench with a clamp and magnet arrangement that not only holds it securly, but also makes it easy to move out of the way when it is not needed. The ring of LEDS provide bright even illumination without glare.
