This game isn't as bad as everyone says but it does have its problems, mainly the live service aspects. I'm a big DC fan, so most of the comic references were fun to see, but the biggest problem with the game is the mission variety...after a while you're doing the same things over and over. The story was fun enough but once I finished it I had little reason to come back. It's fun enough to mess around with for mindless fun but once it's over there's little reason to come back.

I enjoy this. The organized chaos of it all. Sometimes there’s a smidge too much going on, but all in all- very fun.

Despite all the reviews i wanted to give it a try and I was Really disappointed with this game very repetitive and honestly just plan boring. And constantly being online and connecting to the server is annoying stop making super hero games as a service games go back to the old ways straight forward awesome story driven games.

Amazing Looter Shooter Just an Ok Game

If you’re a fan of looter shooters or live service games like Destiny I would recommend getting this game. The gameplay and traversal is the highlight of this game, however everything else is lacking the story is ok it has alot of great moments but suffers from being in the Arkhamverse the only thing they take from the game being in the Arkhamverse is Batman using fear toxin besides that everything else can have been done in its own universe. But since the game is live service the story isn’t finished yet and they have already confirmed 4 seasons that will add new characters and areas so they can improve the story there. Hopefully they also add more endgame content because as of right it is very boring with it making you have to redo the same couple missions over and over again to get better loot. If you are an Arkham fan but don’t like looter shooters or online games then this probably isn’t for you.

The game is good but it feels repetitive. The cut scenes are amazing and they definitely make the game fun but once your out of the cut scenes your back to the same repetitive gameplay. Graphics are great. The story is good. Overall I’d say wait to see if it’s on sale at all.

    Great Game, Bad Servers

This game plays a lot like like Destiny, and I love it for that. It is a looter-shooter, so you will be doing a lot of extra side missions to actually be able to get worthwhile gear. There is a clear divide between the playability of the characters. Harley is the absolute worst to really control and fight with, so most people I know end up with mismatched levels in their group. The biggest downfall of this game is the servers. You are required to play online, and even in solo mode, the server regularly kicks you off. Every other boss battle I had to fight multiple times due to this issue, and some of the quests do it as well.

Fun game so far. I have liked the story line after a couple of hours of playtime. Being used to the Batman games it takes a bit of getting used to for some of the aerial movement. I'm used to using the grappling hook and then gliding with the cape. It will just take time to get used to. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the story and what else the game has to offer.

I walked into this game not knowing what was going on. I got to play the Beta and quickly learned to like it. The co-op is something I am not a fan of, I like playing alone but I understand the need behind it. I like the story line but some things had me scratching my head but that is what stories do. The graphics are gorgeous.

The game has some incredible cut scenes, potential with combat but the enemies and characters are all the same except for the boss battles. Sometimes the angles of your character are difficult to view. People will disagree with the story decisions but my review is focused on playability and it was very disappointing.

I played the first our of this game, the story so far is alright. The cinematics on this game is pretty great. You get introduced to the suicide squad by playing them one by one as a tutorial . I would give this game 5 star because its misunderstood. Its not the greatest game ever. It lacks everything the arkaham game did. Plus the way the killed batman was a major low for rocksteady specially it was kevin conroy last preformance as batman. I recommend playing it for fun and not for the live service this game is.

Absolutely love this game, but it’s not a game for everyone! I really am enjoying, despite some of its flaws. Again this isn’t for everyone. Do some research and if it looks like something you might enjoy, chances are, you will. Pick up from Best Buy was also extremely easy!

I’m not sure what went wrong here. Why did they move from the amazing combat system they’ve built up over the Arkham games to move to this soulless looter shooter? The graphics are stunning, and there is some fun to be had here, but the decision for this massive departure for what gave them their rise to fame is baffling. I wouldn’t recommend it for $70, but if you can find it for $20-$30, you can find a decent enough time with it. As a note: I have mostly played solo with a couple of moments of going co-op with my daughter.
