After 3 years, the sound on my TV went out. It was in a spot that receives a fair amount of sunlight and the screen looks TERRIBLE now! CAN'T BE PUT IN SUNLIGHT! There are spots all over the screen and even when it was on in the sunlight, the picture was barely visible. Extremely disappointed!

I purchased the sunbrite outdoor tv because I thought it would last longer then a regular tv...it started to go in the first year. Input 1 went 8 month in. Thinking it was the HDMI cable and not the input I just ran another HDMI and used input 2. This was more because of the challenge to access the box and where my HDMI cable had to be run. It wasn't until after year 1 that Input 2 failed, followed 3 and then the unit wouldn't power. All this for a TV thats suppose to be for the outdoors and i put it under a cover porch so its never getting wet. I also purchased the overpriced cover for added protection. they only warranty this $2000 plus tv for 1 year and quoted me $625 to fix. No reduced price due to it being under 2 years. If thats how they back their product I suggest you do like i should of and purchase a cheap regular TV and take the risk.
