First let me start by saying the product, ease of ordering, and speed of shipping were above expectations This TV is well built and not as heavy as we had thought at only 46lbs. Exceptional quality picture and sound for having only 2 built in speakers. The good thing is that the speakers face down and are not behind tv so they arent muffled and out sound out. This tv is a good buy for the price even at $2k since it is weather proofed and has a 4x higher brighter picture than most indoor tvs. It was a lot still but well under the comparable competition tvs by ar least half or more. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 stars is because it didnt come with an owner operating manual or a tv stand. And for $2000 it should have. We eventually mounted it to our rock wall outside under our patio cover but without a stand I could not use the tv right away. So make sure you have a good mount and place to hang it before it arrives. Otherwise great buy. We are very happy.

Great TV, Family loves sitting outside to watch it. Picture is Beautiful . Only down fall is the sound. Not loud enough. Definitely needs a sound bar .

I had the 55" Sunbrite Veranda TV installed by an AV tech who was familiar with Sunbrite TV's so I can't comment on the ease of installation,. The TV does not come with an instruction manual, but the 60 page booklet is available online. I set it up with an HD Cable Box, Onkyo receiver, and a DVD player inside my bedroom running a HDMI cable and IR repeater and power to the TV mounted outside on my patio. I have four Klipsch AW-650's outdoor speakers mounted on my patio so I can't comment on the Sunbrite internal speakers. I also added a URC "Splash Proof" universal remote which my AV tech programed for all of the devices. All of this added considerable cost to my install, but I have one remote control outside running everything and all is functioning perfectly. On to the TV: Remote Control - Not very intuitive and no backlight for night time. I'm 52 years old and the print on the buttons is so small that I can't read it without glasses. You can switch between several pre-set video modes pretty easily, but it's difficult to access the picture menu for brightness, contrast, color, etc. I had to actually go online and reference the manual to figure that out (toggle on the buttons). I would have paid more if Sunbrite had a programmable, splash proof universal remote that worked with the TV. Construction - Solid! Looks and feels like it was truly meant to be outside. I really like the powder coater exterior case. Picture - I am so happy with this, I can't even begin to explain. I have about 15' of patio cover over the top, and about 6' of patio cover on one side, 24' on the other side. In full sun during the afternoon I can get some glare, but most of the time it's terrific for an outside TV. The only time it looked washed out was during a Game of Thrones marathon in the middle of the day. That show is shot really dark to begin with, so I cranked up the brightness which worked, but had to crank it back down again at night because the extra brightness washed out the picture. At night I use the "Vivid" picture setting and it is OUTSTANDING!!!! No problem seeing it from far away and the picture is still terrific. Only regret: I would love to have the 65" version, and even considered exchanging my 55" for the 65" after seeing how well it worked, but I just can't justify the $1,500 price difference for 10 extra inches. That's what, a 75% increase? I would have gone another $500 but not $1500.

I purchased this SunBrite 55" Veranda Series TV for my husband's birthday. As specified in the directions, the TV is on our outdoor covered porch but NOT in direct sunlight. What a great picture! We live in Florida on a coastal island with a lot of salt air exposure. I think this TV is better than my indoor TV's, and those are really good TV's. This is the perfect purchase for our outdoor living enjoyment.

I purchased the TV for my back yard or is perfect for all my back yards needs. The TV has great color and motion.

This is an excellent television. So far it has stood up to 35+ mph winds where I live and some rain. No issues the television is thus far been impervious to so harsh dry weather as well. I recommend this brand of television to anyone who is looking for a great outdoor television. The screen is vey vibrant and the sound from the factor speakers is excellent. It was a good idea that the manufacturer set them in a downward position on the television. I would purchase this television again without any reservations.

Great tv for shaded areas. We are using it on our screened in porch. Great 4K ultra picture.

Best bang for your buck as far as outdoor TV's go. I have it under a covered patio picture is great at 1/3 of the price of most outdoor TV'S

We bought this for an outdoor patio and it's terrific. I only wish that we had bought one for indoors as well.

Mounted outside under covered patio. So far so good, has withstood the heat and wind (Vegas) and moisture (sprinklers). Starts up kind of slow, but once on works perfectly.

It looks amazing. However, only time will tell if it holds up through the change in weather.
