This was actually purchased as a replacement for the 5200DX, that was the absolute best tripod I had ever used, unfortunately it was discontinued and this one was fairly similar. The adjustments on this one are not as fluid as my previous tripod, but it gets the job done and its reasonably priced.

I bought this for the height, but unfortunately it is not very tall, it's very lightweight and is great for camping or going on the go

This is a fine little tripod. It works for still photos and things that are stationary. I dont think it would work well for a heavier camera but it works fine for my wife's point and shoot. The legs are a bit stiff coming out, you do get what you pay for :)
over all I'm happy with it but I will need to save up for a tripod to meet my needs not just my wife's!

I bought this tripod to shoot in low light environment. I was looking for a simple inexpensive tripod that is tall enough to fit my needs. This is exactly what I was looking for. The only drawback was the mounting pad the metal pin is quite sharp and I scratched the bottom of my camera - be careful!

I've used this everyday since my purchase. It is great. Easy to carry, sturdy for the job. The latches feel great and lock tight. The balance bubble helps, too.

I enjoyed using the tripod because it is very easy to setup and fold. Because the price is not expensive, I used this product roughly and throw in every places but still functional. Very durable item but I have a doubt that being too light, it might not be stable for heavy cameras.

For the price it's hard to beat this set up. I have just recently started using a tripod and it does help with getting me in the pictures as well as taking videos... Like this year's Christmas

The difference in hand held, and using a tripod is incredible. Especially with longer telephoto lenses. The steadiness factor is huge. No more camera shake, and unfocused pics.

I purchased this Sunpak tripod last year with a fair price from BestBuy.
It is a nice product, and easy to handle. It does not need a skill of professional photographer to use it. I would recommend this product to any amateur photographers like me.

It gets the job done! It is cheaply made so I do plan on getting a better quality tri-pod. I don't fully trust putting my $500 camera on top of it.

I got this with my rewards points so it was free. I got it for christmas because we had family coming from out of the state to spend the holidays with us. I wanted a picture with all 25 of us together and I did not want any one left out to have to hold the camara. I used the tripod and it was sturdy . it was easy to carry ,very light weight. It is easy to assemble and put away. It doesnt take much space and together with my camara I got great pictures. highly recomend.

Great tripod for the $3.50 I paid for it... Otherwise it was not a great quality product. I can see why it was so cheap. The adjustable head on it never sits level (according to the bubble on it), the only way to get the tripod level is to adjust the legs so they are not even with each other; to me that was just an odd situation, usually the legs stay level unless not on level ground.
Very wobbly. I'm sure a heavier tripod would work much better at sitting still.

Lightweight Tripod

This tripod is very sturdy despite being so lightweight! The legs come out and lock into place, and the lightweight frame is perfect for taking pictures on the go. It even has a level which is great in hilly places like where I live to get a level photo. The only problem I've had is a little metal button on the part that holds the camera scratched the bottom of my camera while I was attaching it. Otherwise, this is a great tripod for the money.
