This tripod isn't the best quality but it does its job. The lower section legs are thin. It could easily get knocked over when fully extended. It won't be a high use item for me so I plan on keeping it.

Super easy to set up and use. Ideal for any beginner, I've tested other fancy ines and still glad I got this one! Such an awesome deal $199 for this and the Samsung 360 Gear Camera (2nd edition). We were offered one for $399 for business (just for the oculus no 360 camera, you can imagine how happy I was when I found this deal.We use the 360 camera almost everyday downtown Chicago :)

This tripod is great for use when you have to shoot a quick video, or even a long video. It can support a camera, as well as a cell phone. The height can extend up to 55" and has a swivel feature. It folds up nicely for easier storage. All in all, it is a great product!

Got for Note 8 to take pics with. See pic. To that with my Note on the pod. It is good for starters and may not last for the long run due to plastic parts

As stated in other reviews these smell bad like oil or other chemical. I left them both out all night and they still smell not as bad.
As a tripod for a phone they are great and come with a holder for your phone as well. For $10 dollars they are acceptable. Would pay 5 more without the smell.

Today , I have received product which has broken pieces. Am really surprise by seeing it how a repudiated company like BEST BUY delivered such a product with out reviewing checking. It seems the product was already used where can found some scratch on tripod stand due to expanded multiple times it seems. Am going to return this immediately.By it appearance it self we can found that it is used piece...really disappoints my expectation.

I needed a new tripod to replace the Targus tripod I had for over a year that literally fell apart. Most customers say that this tripod is cheap, but to me it is very sturdy. As it's made out of aluminum; as opposed to a plastic structure. It's lightweight and convenient and it's all black just like my camcorder. I'm happy with my purchase and it was only $9.99, thanks Best Buy.

I got this when it was on sale for $9.99 , so I can't complaint.
But this is very light which is good and bad. I wouldn't use is for more than $700 camera. I use it for my 'gopro' inside home. And it had plastic smell when I opened box. It is good for $10, but I would recommend spending at least $50 for you DSLR Camera.

This is not top of the line obviously but it is a sturdy composite tripod. I use it with a canon HF R80 which is very light and this tripod stand is perfect for it. I want to see how the composite holds up where moving parts are involved but for now I like it.

I bought this when it was on sale at a discounted price and am glad with the purchase. I mount my DSLR with heavy lens and this tripod stays intact on flat surfaces. Make sure to lock the legs. The mount plate (plastic) is easy to slide in and out, so it’s easy to setup. The material feels little cheap, so I always give extra attention on setting it up. I have carried it on hikes and it’s pretty light. I think this is a great buy as a budget travel tripod

Did you ever go on vacation with the family and ask a random stranger to take your group photo for you, especially at the beach? You won't need to do that anymore. This tripod is super light weight but strong enough to hold any compact camera; but don't recommend for heavier SLRs. It comes with a mobile and GoPro adapter to mount your phone to take pictures and really works well.

I needed a small lightweight tripod to supplement my heavy pro one, and this fit the bill, especially for the great price of $9.99. I have several uses for it, including using for my smart phone and small Panasonic digital camera. Great deal!

I was able to get this tripod for a great price as a Black Friday sale. This is a pretty decent tripod for the money and for a beginner. It is nice and light and collapses fairly small. I will be using it in my kayak. The only negative is its max weight rating- 6 pounds. Not designed for heavy equipment/long lenses.
