    I lost the mounting base to my other tri-pod and was in a bind since I was asked to take group pictures. I bought this one hoping it would get me through and was pleasantly surprised with its performance.

    When I received this item I had to return it immediately. The material was too cheap compared to the price you would think it's made of a more sturdy material but it's not. If it's on sale and you are looking for something cheap in price then this might be good for you.

    It worked pretty well for the first few months that I used it, then the cellphone adapter broke, and I have yet to replace it. Something I’m not looking forward to, I am thinking of just replacing the entire thing for something that is definitely more expensive.

    Only complaint is that some of the "buttons" don't stay on the end of the poles, but I should be able to use superglue to hold them into place. This is my first tripod and super easy to use!!

    If you need a tripod for a $100 digital camera that doesn't take pictures, the way to go. DSLR users beware, not very good quality, was scared it would drop my equipment , and viola, the plastic cracked.
