I needed a small tripod for my camera and/or cell phone to make pictures of stuff I wanted to sell on the internet. The leg extensions to make it taller don't work too well.

This thing isn't any good. It's very small, and the legs don't hold up well on any surface. I got it for free so I can't complain. I'd be mad if I paid for it though

Bought it for travel and with a Nikon D5500. The tripod travels extremely well but is not really very stable with the camera and a standard 18 to 55 mm lens.

This is a good product for a low quality shoot and having no other tripod... Spend a few extra bucks and get a higher quality tripod.

Average quality tabletop tripod, but it"s a bit light for a 5D m3 DSLR. It would work fine for a smaller camera, but there are more compact options.

Price was right on item. However, the legs do not stay locked in the fully extended position and collapse unexpectedly.

    The "Mini-D" fails to perform

I bought this (mostly because it was called the "Mini-D" and being immature had a good chuckle) as a table top tripod for a GoPro cut-away angle in videos. The legs don't stay extended and the top will not tighten down enough to even keep a GoPro in position. Save your money and just avoid this as it fails to do anything you'd want a tripod to do.
