I had this one before and used it so much that I bought this one for my husband. Compact and sturdy, goes anywhere, great when on any outing or just shooting pictures and films in the back yard.

For the money, it really is an excellent product. Plenty sturdy enough for the typical point and shoot, when you extend the legs it will support larger cameras with smaller lenses, or even a small-to-medium sized DSLR with a prime lens. I also find if in a bind, that using the tripod to simply brace the camera against a table or other flat surface when shooting a heavier rig and longer lens works well. The rubber feet are excellent, and the carrying bag is nice. Anyone can abuse a small tripod, and strip the knobs, but normal tightening will snug up fine to hold 3 pounds pretty easily. Those who are expecting more out of an inexpensive tabletop tripod are asking an awful lot for the small price paid.

This tripod is awesome on the first level of extension but it will not stay up on the second extension, it keeps sliding back to first extension when the weight of the camera is added because there is nothing to keep it from sliding (first level has a stop on it) ! So totally worth it if you need about 6" of height then add your camera!

We needed a tripod for a trip into the bush. Our prerequisites were that it be small (check!), lightweight (check!), and reliable as there's no corner store in the bush. (And, check!)

I use a phone mount for this tripod and I very much find this tripod useful for vlogging. Very much sturdy and was able to hold up my Nikon D7000 with a 35mm on it. I don't see myself using this tripod with a DSLR but this thing can hold cameras.

I bought this for use with my point and shoot camera for the recent solar eclipse. It works great with a small point and shoot. I was able to use it to shoot a video of our party watching the eclipse before and after totality.

Greatly satisfied with my purchase. It was affordable and just what I wanted an a way to walk around and carry my camera while vlogging and it not being too big or heavy. Also cute lil casing and expands to a decent larger size

I got this tripod for my wife as a start tripod. I was impressed with how easy it is to use and how this tripod pretty much works for every camera I tried it on which is fantastic. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
