I have an old Bogan metal tripod that is very sturdy but very heavy. I bought this as a secondary because of its compact design. It is much lighter and seems to do the job so far.

For the price, you can’t go wrong with it as it’s a carbon fiber tripod, however It wasn’t as light as I expected it to be after a few uses on hikes.
But having the monopod on it is a bonus if you’re willing to save that extra buck and deal with the weight even though it’s carbon fiber.

One of the Best Tripods I Ever Had

This tripod is the BEST. Not only is it a tripod, it also becomes a monopod without having to remove a leg. I've seen other tripods that convert to monopods, but on the others, the fact that you need to remove one of the legs makes the tripod section pretty useless and takes a lot of time to set up. With this TravelMaster Professional, the center column just pulls out and twist the sections to open up. I can do it in SECONDS.
It has carbon fiber legs and they keep the weight of the tripod down. They say it'll support up to almost 35lbs, and I believe it because I use a relatively heavy camera and lens, but there was no issue with the tripod supporting them. The tripod is so strong, yet it's pretty light.
I also love the fact that the legs reverse-fold, and it folds small enough that I can put in in my travel bag with no issues.
I can easily say that I highly recommend this tripod / monopod!

Not a stable product. After setting the camera on it it will not stay where you point. It moves no matter how tight you make it.

good size, light weight for traveling but it is UNSTABLE.
There is 4-5mm movement side way no matter what i do. this is really not good work with especially zoom lens.
If my travel small bag can fit my heavy good tripod I definitely return this.
very fast set up and easy to use. if you have a small camera, not serious photographer maybe a good tripod.
