One of the Best Tripods I Ever Had

This tripod is the BEST. Not only is it a tripod, it also becomes a monopod without having to remove a leg. I've seen other tripods that convert to monopods, but on the others, the fact that you need to remove one of the legs makes the tripod section pretty useless and takes a lot of time to set up. With this TravelMaster Professional, the center column just pulls out and twist the sections to open up. I can do it in SECONDS. It has carbon fiber legs and they keep the weight of the tripod down. They say it'll support up to almost 35lbs, and I believe it because I use a relatively heavy camera and lens, but there was no issue with the tripod supporting them. The tripod is so strong, yet it's pretty light. I also love the fact that the legs reverse-fold, and it folds small enough that I can put in in my travel bag with no issues. I can easily say that I highly recommend this tripod / monopod!

For the money, this has been a good purchase. I have not liked Sunpak in the past due to durability. Its light weight. I have bought a new head for it to fit my needs. The ball head that comes with it sags just a little, but I learned how much to adjust for it, but now I don't use it. I plan to upgrade to a heavier and taller tripod, but I think this one will still be in my equipment list for awhile.

good size, light weight for traveling but it is UNSTABLE. There is 4-5mm movement side way no matter what i do. this is really not good work with especially zoom lens. If my travel small bag can fit my heavy good tripod I definitely return this. very fast set up and easy to use. if you have a small camera, not serious photographer maybe a good tripod.

I wanted a tri-pod that would be easy to use, to store away and tote around. This was it. First ever purchase of such a product. Admittedly, I plunge right in without reviewing instructions. When I did use pamphlet, it was easy to understand and I was doing the actions correctly (I just needed to get a feel of the joints, etc). Good, good deal

This tri pod is made of carbon composite and is much sturdier than my aluminum tri pod . It has a weight rating of around 18 pounds that puts it in a class with some of the more high dollar tri pods on the market and this one is very reasonable in price. also has a ball type head that is very adjustable and smooth.

I extended fully, even the center post. It did not hold my 600 lens steady enough, needs the weight attached, which it provides a hook for. Light weight for carrying, very welcomed. No problems with the smaller lenses.

What hesitant to purchase this as I wasn't familiar with the brand. However I decided to give it a try as it was much lighter than the mefoto. So far no regrets , works exactly as it should and lightweight so excellent for hiking.

Bought this to go with my Peak Design camera strap. Love the ball head, can move the camera by loosening only one knob. Don’t like the twisting to extend the legs, one broke after a month, but was able to fix.
