this game offers ultimate creativity!! Love it!! There are many different levels and game play options to choose from.

Awesome game! Encourages creativity. I love how it blends old Super Mario Bros. with new Mario characters. Very fun!

We bought this for my daughter but everyone in my family has enjoyed it, even my non-gaming wife. I love playing the challenge levels that we can download. My wife and daughter love creating their own levels to try to stump me. I only wish there was a way for one person to be designing on the gamepad while a second person plays other levels on the TV. It takes time to design a decent level and there's not anything for the other people to do while a level is being created.

This is a Super Mario Brothers game at its core with a welcoming twist; the ability to create and upload your levels to be played by others. The level editor is very easy to use with many options, including your desired graphic style - SMB1 & 3 for NES or SMB for Wii U. Whether you play the 100 mario challenge or play user created levels, you simply can't go wrong with this game.

This game is pretty great. I am not the most creative gamer so it is nice to be able to play courses made by others.

My nine-year-old is constantly creating new levels.... Or trying to complete the levels of his friends have created.

If you like all the previous Mario games from NES, SNES, WiiU, then you will love this game! You get a mix of all the previous Mario games as you play. Thanks to the ability to make your own levels, people have made some crazy levels! I didn't buy this to make my own levels so no experience with that. I just wanted to play all the different levels that the game had to offer.

This game is everything that I've always wanted as a kid growing up playing the original Mario series. For so many years I wished that I could design my own levels, or wondered what a stage would be like if it only had a few more koopas to get through. The beauty of this game is that it lets you explore any of your thoughts or ideas, and then share them with the rewarding on multiple levels, because it scratches both your player and creative itch at the same time.

This is a great for those who like Mario games or wants to be game designer. Mario Maker give you the freedom to create levels anyway you want. Although, for the some, the content is limited. With four game designs, it doesn't include a lot of the Mario elements. The Amiibo adds a nice touch. I find it entertaining, for ONLY those that like to create and play the game.

Best game on Wii U yet. This is an ultimate playbook and the levels that other users have created are insane.

You have to be crazy not to get this game! Everybody and anybody can play this game, designing levels is fun!

Great game. Tons of replay value here. In fact thats the whole basis of the game.Minor gripes though. I hate the unlock system, give me all my tools from the start. Needs to add SMB 2 palates/sprites. Hope those come in as DLC. Local multiplayer not supported seems like a missed opportunity. Still despite all that 5 stars. I'll spend tons of time on this. Happy 30 years to Super Mario Bros. My first franchise in gaming and still going strong today.

Basically, take everything you love about Mario, and then allow people to let their imaginations run wild. Not only is it tremendously fun to make your own levels, but it is crazy fun to play the stuff people create. Whether the levels they make are super hard or super easy, there is some fantastic levels to play! I definitely recommend. I wasn't at all excited for this game, but after buying it and trying it I've grown to really enjoy it.

Super Mario Maker is a fun game. Levels are so easy to make, my 5 and 7 year olds love making levels.

This game is great for anyone who loves Mario. I love to play Mario, so I knew I would love this game! I didn't realize that building Mario levels would be so enjoyable! I have never been as good at Mario games as my husband, but with this game, we can both play. I build the levels, as hard as I can make them, then he tries to pass them off. I love this game! The online levels are also fun! If you enjoy Mario, you'll like this.
