Great game, Mario and Cappy go on a grand adventure and you get to turn into many different creatures - pretty neat

Super Mario Odyssey is a great game and really does the series proud. In some ways, it takes its cue from Super Mario 3D World and pays tribute to a few of its older iterations. Then there's the new mechanics and giving Mario a new set of abilities. I'd say that it deserves all of the accolades that it has received.

First let me say this game is not perfect as very few rarely are. This is a great game and holds to the nostalgia of the series as it should. New mechanics with old buddies make this a fun game for sure. It’s biggest positive is that I can play it and kids can play it alike. It’s a good pickup and play sort of game.

I PURCHASED THIS SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY GAME FOR MY GRANDSON. HE CALLED TO TELL ME IT WAS DELIVERED. HE STARTED PLAYING THE GAME AND TOLD ME HE WAS HAVING FUN AND REALLY LIKED THE GAME. I GUESS I WILL BE GETTING A FEW MORE OF THESE GAMES IN THE FUTURE.

It's Mario. What is there to not like! Super Mario Odyssey (like all its previous Super Mario games) was made for players to get the full enjoyment of their new gaming system. If you have a switch, by default this and Mario Cart are standard purchases.

Purchased this game for my children and coincidentally ended up joining in for a fantastic trip down memory lane. Great to see the Mario legacy passed down from generation to generation in a very user friendly (Nintendo Switch) console for both young and old!

Its creative and inventive, but can burn you out real quick if you want narrative or to be lead through an experience. its non linear gameplay leaves discovery up to the player and traveling through the same sections over and over to find everything can be tiring or a joy depending on what you like during gameplay.

This game is by far the best on the Nintendo Switch right now and for good reasons because its Mario and his titles never disappoint and this game is very color and fun with a little challenge on the side. If you're getting a switch or thinking about it then this should be your first game purchase before any other.

If you love Mario then you'll love this game and its even better with a friend or family member as you take control of mario and his partner the talking hat! This felt like playing something close to Mario galaxy with elements of classic Mario mixed in

If you like Mario games this will not disappoint. I haven't been as excited since the games went to "3D" instead of scroll left games, but this one is incredible. The addition of the cap and it's ability to turn Mario into various characters in the game invents a whole new level of silly excitement for the player.

Nintendo keeps upping the experience you can have with Mario. I am always amazed on how the plot and mechanic develop time and after time. This game incorporates 2D Mario and 3D Mario in a game and introduces us to cappy. Mario is always extremely fun to play and this game can be added to the other masterpieces.

This game is so much fun. It can be challenging to find all the cool stuff or my youngest can play in assisted mode. You can even cooperate to control different actions of Mario...that takes some serious cooperation which is also great for the kids. Best Switch game we have...or at least right there with Zelda....

I don't usually like traditional Mario games because they are difficult and frustrating, but the Hakoniwa type of Mario (others include Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine) is my favorite. There are both easy and hard moons to collect. The game balances it so well that it appeals to both casual and hardcore players.

I started playing this right away and have really appreciated the little Easter eggs scattered on the game. Then my pre-k kid started playing... She loves it and the Assist Mode means all I have to do is read the dialog to her (and best bosses). This is her first non-mobile game and she's been crushing it.

This is a fitting continuation of the Super Mario 64 styling. So far there aren't actually power ups as there are int eh other games but the game makes up for it by being able to possess many enemies both new and old. The graphics are what you'd expect from a newer console and game play is smooth. Highly recommend

One of my favorite games on the switch. It reminds me of Mario 64 with better graphics and a cool twist by bringing you back to the nes days in certain parts. I like the collection system of the game like that of the n64 version of stars. Very clever and hopefully we will get another Mario out of this switch.

I’m not much of a gamer, but being stuck inside due to Covid I was looking to buy some more games for my switch. This game was so fun and addicting! Really easy to learn yet sufficiently challenged to keep me entertained. Highly recommend for any gaming newbies!

I've played Mario games in the past, and while they have all been great, they all followed a similar formula to a degree--and that's fine, I like it. Super Mario Odyssey introducing an open world component, coop mechanics, and interesting locations is fantastic. Next to Zelda, best game on Switch in my opinion.

Super Mario Odyssey delivers that ongoing promise of originality and innovation: It distills the venerable series’ joyful, irreverent world and characters and best-in-class platforming action, and introduces a steady stream of new and unexpected mechanics. It’s all spun together into a generational masterpiece.
