This is easily the best Mario game since Super Mario 64 and possibly the best ever. It truly must be experienced, and has something for everyone. Dozens of hours of amazing, breathtaking game play and tons of nostalgia to boot. Even if you don't own a switch, buy one and play this game.

When I started the game, I feared it would be another Super Mario Galaxy, which I didn’t care for, but it plays more like Super Mario 64, which is obviously awesome! In true Nintendo fashion, it’s easy to learn but difficult to master, but it rewards you for trying! Pick this one up!

This is one of the best Mario games I've played in a while. Not to say the other games were bad or anything, this game just captures that special something that some of the recent games didn't have. Lots of Easter eggs and fun little things for series veterans, definitely worth getting.

As a long time fan of MARIO and company I greatly enjoy this game. It does a great job of teaching you as you play so there is no need to know everything from the start. And you can’t go wrong with a good ol’ MARIO saves the princess story. Recommend for people of almost any age.

We pre-ordered the Nintendo Switch and we're disappointed to hear this game would not be available until later in the year. Once we picked this game up, we realized it was worth the wait. It's been fun to revisit my own favorite childhood game with a modern twist. Definitely recommend!

Another great Mario game. Jump back into the fun of a favorite Nintendo series with Super Mario Odyssey for Nintendo Switch. Mario enters a 3-D world to save Princess Peach from Bowser yet again, and use new moves like cap jump to keep Mario one step ahead of trouble.

I ordered the switch console primarily for this game. Its much more similar to Mario 64 than the galaxy games on the Wii, with an emphasis on exploration over pure difficulty. After the first play through, you'll only have collected about 20% of the total moons possible. lots of fun.

This game has such different, yet familiar gameplay compared to other Super Mario games. I really love how you can capture enemies and change costumes. I really like how after you beat the game, it still encourages you to explore and find more power moons.

In a word, Super Mario Odyssey is delightful! A perfect blend of accessibility and challenge. Each world jumps off the screen, and I dare you to not smile the entire time you play this perfect gem of a game! Between this and Breath of the Wild, there is no reason to not own the Switch!

This game is, hands down, Game Of The Year (Or atleast very high for about 99% of the world, depending on taste).
The movement in the game is top-notch, worlds are fun & sandbox-like, different mechanics are introduced without overstaying their welcome. Just buy the game already, man!

Awesome game! You play as Mario himself or many enemies you can throw your hat at. Also they managed to get classic Mario involved in game with 8 but sections throughout levels. The story line actually keeps my interest and has many secrets to find along the way. Would highly recommend

It's Mario back in his 3D sandbox roots. The game's all about rewarding your curiosity. Tons of "moons" to collect, plenty of enemies to "capture" (take their body and use their abilities), an incredible soundtrack, impressive visuals, and just a whole lot of fun.

Even after Nintendo released Super Mario Maker, the world thought that Nintendo wouldn't come up with another good Mario game because now the internet could make up any level imaginable. However, Nintendo has outdone themselves with another great, soon-to-be-classic, Mario title.

In addition to the usual game play of saving the princess from Bowser, this game takes you through different lands with a modern day feel and allows for MARIO to change outfits buy things from stores, and interact with locals. Very cute spin on the original MARIO theme

Was excited to play this game but my daughter beat me to it and I can’t get her hands off of it. The game looks, sounds, and feels great. New play mechanics are easy to learn and fun to use. I also love the inclusion of 2D elements throughout the game brining that retro feel!
