Excellent game glad I purchased it at the time I did

The moment I started playing it felt great playing a new mario game that wasn't like the older games. I still like the platforming and side scrolling of the past games but after a while I wanted a game that was a true 3-d world game.

Best Mario game every. Great for all ages. My 3 year old even likes it. Can be challenging but so much to do and collect. Never a dull moment.

I know I only get the option for 5 stars, but this game is absolutely fantastic. Reminds me so much of an enhanced version of Mario 64, which is my all-time favorite game. If you own a Switch, you absolutely must own this game.

If you are a fan of other 3D platformers and even the classics, you will find a serious amount of enjoyment with SMO. This game combines so many great mechanics into one amazingly cohesive experience that will bring you hours of enjoyment.

This game is everything and more that a Mario game should be. If you are a Mario fan... get this. The world design and monsters are amazing. The controls are top notch. The clothing items you can dress Mario in are humorous. Get this game.

I had high hopes for this game and it did not let me down. The various modes for controller use has me playing in a completely different way (separated joycons.) I'm about three hours into the game and love the diverse gameplay with Cappy.

Very fun game. Nintendo definitely did a great job putting this together and all the music is great. It's not super complex, but was definitely what I expected. I had a blast playing through it and I'm still finishing up the final levels.

First Mario game i have picked up in 15 to 20 years besides the old SNES games. Better than i thought it would be. Like the change in pace from the old games.

I have loved Mario ever since I was a kid playing on the original GameBoy. This game is loads of fun and it is crazy to see how far they have taken Mario throughout the years. Would recommend to anyone who is a fan of Mario.

Son loves this game because you can turn into different things like a frog

Tons of fun discovering power moons to fuel your rocket ship to explore and follow bowser in order to save Princess Peach. Classic game play as well as new puzzles to solve in order to reach your goal to save the princess.

My kids love it. The whole family can play together. My doc just old can't get enough.

I purchased Odyssey for my son and he has informed me that Odyssey is the best Mario game to date. He has not stopped talking about it since he started playing it. So.... yes I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys the Mario games.

I have been playing Nintendo for over 20 years and I am rarely not impressed with every generations MARIO release. I was impressed yet again. I did not like Mario Sunshine and I loved MARIO Galaxy to put it into perspective.
