I cannot believe how good this game is! It plays so well, has just enough nostalgia and plenty to do after completing the story

Making his solo debut on the Nintendo Switch Mario has leapt and bound further than he has in the past. You start the game with everything you'll need to make it through the entire game. Its only based upon skill level that you can get to some hidden places. There is a lot of replay value as their are tons of Moons, an in game collectable item, as well as coin collecting for various suits Mario can wear on his adventure. I highly recomend this entry into the Mario franchise to new comers and fans of all ages.

(Tl;Dr if you have a switch, you need this game. If you don't have a switch buy... Buy the bundle) Listen, this game is so much fun. I remember playing Mario 64 when I was like 4 or 5 and the same joy I had when I played that game then, I feel now as a 22 year old. The story is very cute and it can a little bit repetitive at times but the gameplay itself is so much fun. The game makes it so that a brand new gamer can play the game but it you have a little more skill you can experiment and be rewarded for it.

One of the best 3D Platformers ever to be released. Sandbox fun with plenty of replayability. The evolution of the legendary Super Mario 64 and feels so incredible to play. 10/10.

As a grown man who has not indulged in video games in years, I was apprehensive as this purchase was also for my nieces and nephews.
Trust me when I tell you you cannot go wrong with this game. Easy enough to plug and okay, hard enough (there is no booklet) to make you use your brain (open environment where you have to search and collect moons), and nostalgic enough for those who played Mario in the '80s (Nintendo seamlessly and amazingly infused old Mario game play with 3-D environment). Wow!!!

Nintendo has really done a great job once again making another Mario Game. This Game is a lot of fun and each land is So BIG that there is so much to do prior to beating the bad guy in each level. I haven't beaten the game yet and in all honesty probably won't lol! The truth is that I am just a Casual Gamer and focus more on my job, I still have N64 games that I haven't beaten yet lol! Anyways this game is really fun and I'd you need help getting somewhere in a level, YouTube is the go to for information.

After a period of subpar “3D” Mario games, Mario Odyssey feels both excitingly new and nostalgic. Mario has many new movement techniques, along with the new “capture” ability. This allows for more exploration options than ever before. Mario Odyssey is also a throwback to classics such as Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy. There are unique and colorful environments, as well as new NPC races. This game is a must buy for any Nintendo Switch owner, it is one of the best games on any console right now.

I bought this during the Mario Day sale in early March for my 6-year old son's Nintendo Switch. He really enjoys playing it, and I enjoy playing the two player mode with him to help him if he gets stuck. The game features Mario and his new sidekick hat, "Cappie." The game has lots of fun puzzles, and mixes well the ability to play in an open 3D area against enemies that 30 to 40 year old parents will find familiar, if not downright nostalgic, from their childhoods.
