In any other world this would be the best Mario game ever made, but unfortunately for Odyssey, we live in a world with SUPER MARIO BROS. 2!!!!!!!

First Breath of the Wilde and now Mario Odyssey. This is easily the best Mario game or even platformer ever crafted. If you're a fan of the genre, just love Mario games, or want something awesome to play for your Switch that isn't one of great games already available for the system this is the way to go. There's tons to do, the game play and controls are tight, and the game is a visual joy. If you have a Switch, get this game.

Great game that is a must get with your Switch. Cool concept of exploring through the worlds with your little hat buddy. Motion controls work like a charm as well

Mario is back and better than ever. Arguably this is the best Mario game since Super Mario 64. Go om adventure with Mario and Cappy. Even though the game is two player where one person controls Mario and another one controls Cappy, the person who controls Cappy will not have as much fun. The person who gets to play as Cappy should be a younger player or one with less skill in order for the game to be enjoyable at their level.

This is a great Mario game for all ages. I haven’t played a Mario game in quite a while and this brought me back with all of the old 8-bit Mario throwbacks. My only criticism is that this is truly just a one-player game. Two-player mode requires someone to be Mario’s hat, which.. does nothing useful and is no fun.

Super fun game, feels like a first person RPG and is quite addictive. Family friendly, and I'd suggest adding the mode that shows you arrows and offers help so you (or the kids) don't get lost. This is my favorite Mario game hands down and there are tons of little tricks and things to explore in the game. I feel like I could play this for years!

I've played every Mario game adventure there ever was. In my opinion this game surpasses the magic and master piece that is Mario 64! Nintendo is back in full force with their games. There are so many secrets In this game and replay ability is very high and Mario's new capture ability might be his greatest power up of all time. Im talking kaio ken x20 here. Ha! Buy a SWITCH and look forward to Nintendo's biggest franchises.

This game was fantastic!! I got addicted almost instantly it’s appropriately challenging and get’s you thinking. There’s a cute storyline to play out but then hours of additional gameplay to finish all the side quests. It brings in a lot of aspects and Easter eggs from the old Mario games to make you feel nostalgic, but then brings in the new element of cappy and the moons to keep it fresh. 10/10 loved it!

This game has surpassed any expectations for a new Mario RPG. It has the feel of Super Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy all at once. It is visually beautiful and has hours upon hours of gameplay if you’re a completionist. The co-op is fun as well and would be great for any pair from kids to adults. Ive beaten the main story line but still have over 60% of the power moons left to collect. Easily my game of the year choice.
