I love this game because it is a great Mario game. Even though I have finished the entire game I still play time to time and enjoy the mini games that it has with in the game. At first I thought the game was short and simple and not much to do after beating the final bowser. Boy, was I wrong, beating the game opened up a whole new set of trials. To my pleasant surprise the game got much more depth and difficulty after completing the main story line. There's roughly 1000 moons to collect and the last 700 are much more fun and enticing to get. Must buy for anyone with a switch especially so if you have ever liked a Mario game.

Great new entry to the super mario series, plot is great but of course simple and the pace of the game is good. You can skip through a kingdom
Just by collecting enough stars and move on to the next place but with how distracted you get and how you get nudge towards the mission objectives it’s hard to not over collect moons to be right on the path to the end. The game doesn’t just stop at the final battle it actually has a very large post game as well.

Odyssey is quite a jump for Mario and takes a more exploration based approach than the past few entries. This game returns to the wide open worlds with an exploration focus and lots of collectibles. If you are looking for a game like Mario 64 then I highly recommend this. It is obvious that Nintendo took their time with this game and poured a lot of soul into it. It is enjoyable from start to finish and has the most content in any Mario game to date.

The two player experience is exceptional, and this Mario does an amazing job of allowing you to collect as you go without needing to start and stop levels again and again. There's always more to do, tons of throwbacks, a wonderful soundtrack inspired by Nintendo classics, and being able to "sleep" the Switch and come back right where you left off makes this game extremely easy to pick up for brief playtime. Great for playing with the kids too!

Nintendo knows how to deliver a quality Mario game for each of their systems. This one is just as great as the rest. The mechanics are familiar with Mario's moves. The new experience with using Mario's cap as a weapon, and possessing local enemies to help you, is great fun. Cool worlds, hidden stuff everywhere. Fantastic fun.

This game has influence from every other Mario game before it, and it's amazing. From the 2D sections inspired from Super Mario Bros., to the open-world format of Super Mario 64, and many audio and visual cues of many other Mario games, this game is seriously packed with detail! There's so much do to with this game, I'll be playing this for a while, and will probably find myself replaying it soon after, now that I have a better grasp of the controls.

The main story game is extremely easy, yet entertaining. The real fun starts after you collect the minimum 140 moons. 900 moons await your discovery with hundreds of puzzles and hidden secrets that rival the legacy of Mario 64. There is plenty of fan service too. The moons in the mushroom kingdom are "star shaped". Mirrors are back, and actually serve an intuitive purpose. This may go down as one of the greatest iterations of 3D Mario ever conceived.

With all the other video-game related accounts I follow on Twitter, I certainly saw many reviews of the game leading up to its release. Almost all of which were perfect or near-perfect. And, while I decided to purchase the game long before I saw any reviews, it is great to see such positive reception to Mario's newest adventure. And, after playing the game for myself, I can say that all the positive reviews that it has received are greatly deserved.

This game is perfection in every detail. From the moving grass to the hidden shrines. it just begs for you to go around everywhere and explore it.
You can literally interact with anything, and the environment can also affect that.
Most people who are giving low scores haven't played this game, I doubt anyone could not appreciate this.
It's a fresh new Legend of Zelda adventure that will captivate you and provide many hours of entertainment.

Having every Mario game released since the original from 1985 I have to say this is one of the most fun entries to date. A new take on Mario in a 3D world.
This titles adds a new mechanic of throwing Cappy (your new friend who resembles Mario’s trademark hat) at enemies and then you can control them.
With tons of “Moons” to collect through the game this game has plenty to do even after you have finished the main story.
