This is a fitting continuation of the Super Mario 64 styling. So far there aren't actually power ups as there are int eh other games but the game makes up for it by being able to possess many enemies both new and old. The graphics are what you'd expect from a newer console and game play is smooth. Highly recommend

Mario Odyssey is such a great game! It's one of the best Mario games that I've played since Mario 64. This game hits all the nostalgia points perfectly. It does have some really hard difficulty spikes and can get frustrating. The final area for the last 3 power moons is nearly impossible so good luck!

I've played Mario games in the past, and while they have all been great, they all followed a similar formula to a degree--and that's fine, I like it. Super Mario Odyssey introducing an open world component, coop mechanics, and interesting locations is fantastic. Next to Zelda, best game on Switch in my opinion.

I honestly don't think there has EVER been a bad mainline Mario title to date. This one here is no different, especially if you were fortunate enough to be around when he made his 3D debut on the N64. No way you will be disappointed with this one.

The ability to have Mario on the switch is awesome. The game looks incredible on the big screen using the dock. The game does not look as good on the switch screen but still very good to be able to play Anywhere. Game has great new mechanics. Mario has new abilities that make the game extremely fun an addicting.

This is easily one of the best games of the year, on the Switch, and in the Mario Franchise. Limitless possibilities, creativity, fun, and replayability. Any gamer of any age and genre can get into and enjoy this game. Wholeheartedly would recommend to any game and non-gamer alike. You will not be disappointed.

Overall I am not really a “Mario Guy”, I haven’t played a Mario game since the N64. When I tell you this game is an incredible must have for anyone even remotely interested in “fun”, I mean it. Great looking for a Switch game, excellent controls and intuitive design, if you own a Switch this is a no brainer!

Definitely mario back on track - mix of clever areas, timing / complex moves, and general goodness. Beating the main game is a little on the easy side - only struggled in one or two areas, but finding all moons takes quite a bit of effort and is well worth it. Didn't expect it to suck me in as much as it did!!

This game is so creative and one of the best that I've ever seen from Nintendo! The open-world atmosphere and gameplay is outstanding and it's understandable that they released this game for the Nintendo switch launch. I'd highly recommend this game for anybody that wants to pick and choose their missions.

Nintendo does it again with one of the biggest releases of the year. A game that boasts beautiful graphics, a great soundtrack, tight controls, and plenty of fun for people looking for casual fun or challenging platforming. Plus, the game being on the Switch means you can play it anywhere. There's no losing!

Look its been a long time since we had a proper open world 3D Mario, all the way back to Mario Sunshine on the NGC. This game continues Nintendo's hot streak of incredible games for the Switch this year. Don't even question if you want to buy this game, just buy it and Zelda and you will be busy till spring.

I love Mario. Before buying I heard everyone raving about this game. It was the first game I bought for my switch and it’s completely worth it! You’ll last days trying to find every moon. The different interaction with characters give you a new view of the Mario world. Fun, exciting, and action every moment

Since Super Mario Bros on SNES I don’t think i can think of a Mario game that i like more that this one. It’s like them all combined into one. I’m more of a Zelda guy and took a chance on this and it was definitely a lot of fun. Second best game of 2017 after all. After Breath of the Wild Ofcoarse.

Great game! I haven’t had this much fun with a Mario game since Mario 64. I decided to pick up this game after buying a switch. Definitely recommend. Awesome mechanics, fun story, fun music, all around awesome time.

My son enjoyed the game but unfortunately beat it in less than 3 days. He can go back in and do more and earn more coins. Just wish it was a 2 player or more game and had more levels.

If you are looking for a great game for the Nintendo Switch, this is it! Super Mario Odyssey features Cappy and Mario. It is only available for the new Switch. Kids and adults will love this new addition to the Mario series. You can use special amiibo with this game, but they are not required for gameplay.

This is the reason I bought the switch and I do not regret it one bit. The game is challenging for all ages/skill and the mix of different play styles (3-d and 2-d) helps keep it fresh. I hope Nintendo continues to expand the mario game series and hopefully won't wait too long for the next installment!
