Got this for my 9 year old for his birthday and he loves it! One feature I was unaware of is that you can set an “assist” mode and an arrow will appear on the screen to tell you which direction to go. He doesn’t really need it but I thought it would be nice to tell those who were thinking of it for a younger child or one less experienced. It definitely held up to his expectations of fun!!!

If you own a Nintendo Switch, you should own this game! If you don't own a Nintendo Switch, go buy one so you can play this game! This is the best Mario game in years! Dozens of hours of gameplay with well-implemented motion controls equals lots of fun! It even has a two-player mode that allows one player to control Mario while the other player controls Cappy the hat! Definitely a must buy!

This is a very entertaining game from the Mario Bros franchise that is playable in both portable and console mode. The gameplay is very simple yet innovative with an easy-to-follow storyline. The game even allows for cooperative gameplay (one player controls Mario while the other player controls Cappy). Definitely a highly recommended game for new and current Mario Bros fans.

Great game but way to short big fan of Mario If you like mario64 go for it

I watch some reviews on some gaming websites, they rated it high but I always take that with a grain of salt..... this game really plays really well, has great elements added from the original Super Mario Brothers, as well as going back the the style of Super Mario 64, along with the more recent games like Mario Sunshine... they really did a great job on it! Highly recommended. I’m hooked!

This is a great game. Really reminds me on Mario 64...very similar vibes. My sons love playing it and I love watching them play it. Reminds me of my childhood.

First game I played for the switch, love it. So fun, Mario games never disappoint

I've been taking my time with this title but when I do play it feels like completely familiar territory with new experiences. I initially thought the whole hat possession thing was gimmicky but it's come to feel so natural in the gameplay. In traditional Mario fashion, exploration is greatly rewarded throughout the game. I love this added level of challenge for the more seasoned players.
