Purchased this board for a 10 year old for christmas. Worked great out of the package after charging. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles as some of the higher priced ones. Hasn't started on fire yet so I guess that they finally got there stuff together with the UL certification. Child said it was the best Christmas present that he has ever received. I guess that says it all.

My kids love it. Very easy to use- charges quickly-And battery lasts long.

Kids love them and they hold up to their abuse however for the cost they should have lights.

Christmas purchase for my 12 year old son--he loves it! It gets a lot of use & is a big hit with family & friends who come to visit. Rides nice indoors and out on smooth/semi-smooth surfaces or low-pile carpet. Full charge lasts appx 2 hours of continuous use. Great value for first hoverboard purchase. Highly recommend..thank you BestBuy!

We bought this for our daughter. She had never rode a hover board before bit picked it up very quickly thanks in part to the balancing and smoothness of this model. Beginner mode only lasted a day as she learned how to operate it. The board is very wellmade and has stood up to the abuse we have all put it through.

Heavy. First thing to note is this thing is heavy. We gave it to our 13yo and away she went. My 270lb a** got on it and about died. After some training on carpet I got it down enough to evaluate it for myself. Definitely a far cry from the fire bombs that these things started as. This is def a quality machine with attention to durability. I'm sure I'm over the recommended weight but it had no problems dragging me around the neighborhood. Acceleration is smooth and predictable, and nearly silent. The range is rated in miles and I guess that's great if you are one of those sprout eating greenpeacers that want to reduce your carbon footprint for the next generation of toe tappin fergameisters. Overall probably overkill for your 9yo but if this is the type of thing that tickles your funny spot, then I'd say it would be a worthy investment.

4yr old rides this great. No issues easy to learn would recommend

My 5 kids use this all the time. Works well ages range from 6-14

This was so easy to get used to. I bought it for my brother and after 10-15 he knew how to maneuver it like a pro. So then I got one it and did the same. If other people say that it didn't work then they must have done something wrong. Plus I like that it beeps when the batteries are low.

Idk if it's worth the current price but I got it on Black Friday for 199 for my son. Seems like I ride it more than him. *Note weight limit* Is a draw back & it seems narrower than the T1/T3. But well made.

I have purchased Hoover boards before and this one is much smaller and lighter weight but is also half the price! Good for a beginner/junior high age kid! I recommend this product especially for the price!

Haven't had any problems or issues with it, and has not had any issues with the battery. This was a great buy ,other then not having Bluetooth, it's just as good as the names brand expensive ones!

I was really hesitant at first to get my son a product like this. But he made it look so simple to ride, so fast. I still make him wear a helmet, but even I jumped on it and found it fun and easy. Also great value for price.

This is my first hover board. I love it because it has beginner mode and advance mode. The only downfall is that you can't be no more than 187 for this specific board, but it's affordable and fun to ride.

The Swagtron hoverboard is great! Good price, perfect size for my 8 & 10 year olds, holds a charge for a long time, doesn't take super long to charge, my kids (and myself) love the hoverboards!
