Still new, so I am still getting used to all the options and setting - but out of the box it was easy to set motion zones and get emailed alerts. I was also able to go back and watch a vehicle cruising the neighborhood several times - over 100' from the street so I cant make the license, but very clear. Holding out the last star until I see if it lasts.

The camera system worked well just not what I needed. Hard drive would make this system better. I would recommend to someone that wants to monitor. I set the sensitivity to 80% and it would notify me if the leaves moved on a near by tree. Problem was it would only record halfway through an incident. If I walked to my vehicle I was already inside it before it saved the clip. I figure it's trying to save power since its battery operated so it didn't catch the first 5 seconds. Not going to work for me but it could work for someone that only needs that kind of setup. At 100% it did record more but again a hard drive to search through would be easier for me vs. going through little clips on an app to watch the leaves move. Great look and easy to setup. I could Have used something like this when my kid were still babies as a monitor.

We bought this when my mom moved in with us during her transition from a Nursing Home to Assisted living. Shes recovering from a Stroke and we needed a way to make sure that she was safe in the house. This was the only system that we could find, other then professionally installed, that would allow us to check on her while at work. This system allowed us to see if/when Nurses/Therapy came to the house and even multiple medical emergencies. We continue to use it even after she moved back into a facility. A little pricey at first but when you compare that its WiFi connected, you can view from anywhere and the Cameras are indoor/outdoor; you cant beat the price. The only negative about it, is the connection is not easy to hide, unless you go through the ceiling (We rent so that's not an option for us). Great product and we look forward to expanding to 4 cameras

Not difficult to set up. I like the DVR as opposed to any cloud-based system. The recorded videos have very good definition. The motion sensitivity needs work as it is difficult to find a balance between triggering for a person walking through the yard vs. for the shadows of the leaves on the trees moving. Not much documentation given in the box. Support is in Australia. The app is good, but could be improved. What I dislike the most is the lack of camera/ DVR/ NVR compatibility between Swann systems. I would recommend to someone new to this technology or someone who needs the basics.
