Easy installation

Started having this rivers rolling thru cameras 1 & 3. Don’t know why haven’t been damaged at all. They were professionally installed by a tech. So hade him come back out and check to see what the problem could be no good answer called Swann same issue, not sending them back because it’s costly.

I wish I wouldn't have waited 2 months to install this system or I would have returned it. The app isn't as feature-rich like other systems.

Thank you for reaching out to us and providing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience with our 1080P 8-Channel DVR System. The resolution on this in 1080P (2.1MP) in comparison to 600 TVL is a large improvement. There is a possibility that the settings on your recorder must be adjusted. With our new OS5 update we have added some new features. With this new update you can use the new application "Swann Security" for IOS/Android devices. Please be sure to test this out.
When using the application for remote access, you can use main-stream for a higher resolution video. Although though this may contribute to slower loading times. Sub-stream will allow for faster loading times, but the quality will be at a lower resolution.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the 8 camera, 1080P, 1TB HD setup up for a month now. And I have to say, it was worth the money for the quality. Pros: 1. Cheap 2. Easy setup 3. Night vision video quality is good. 4. Program is easy to use. 5. Remote access is handy. Cons: 1. If you have the camera a little high, it's hard for the motion sensor to catch anything. 2. If the camera is by a tree, it'll set off the motion sensor. 3. The 5 second delay for the camera to activate. 4. I wish they included at least 2 cables that were longer than the standard 50 or 60 feet cables. (Luckily, I had 2 extra cameras, so I cut up a cable to extend it.)
