I was unsure when I purchased this brand as I had not heard of this company before. To my surprise it works really well at night and during the day. I am also able to use my other devices to keep track of what's happening.

Product was easy to install however, cables were to short to reach from all corners of my home so I had to buy 3 extra cables. Cell phone app isn't working either.

This product was a great buy for the price. I got is on sell. Everything I needed for the installation was included. I have a large attic so installation of the cables were easy. Mounting the cameras was the hardest part. The picture quality is great. The face identification of people at night is not to clear. All of the 8 cameras were mounted on the outside of my house. I have a great view of the entire area around the house and garage. Setup and operating the system is easy although I am still learning. I used a spare PC monitor to connect to the DVD for viewing. I wish that the DVD was capable of recognizing my home WiFi. Running a cable is not an option since the router in downstairs and the DVD is upstairs. I am working on a possible resolution for that but have not had time to complete. Downloading and installing the software was easy. Although, I have not used it other than a trial run of two cameras. It seemed to work from my home. I can not comment on how it will work from a long distance.

This swann system is extremely easy to set up and get operating. The most difficult part is running the cables through your home in tight and hard to reach spaces. Otherwise, everything is straight forward , plug and play. The video quality is superb for your general 1080 bullet cameras. It does however lose clarity when using the digital zoom. Overall, a basic camera system to identify and deter any would be burglars or unwanted guests in your home or business.

Camera has nice picture. Easy to setup. Running the wires was not the easiest but knew that before I started.

The camera clarity is great, the night view is what I was very impress with. The installation of camera wasn't difficult. I would definitely recommend this product.

This 8 camera security system has made us feel much safer in our home. Relatively easy to install, GREAT picture, GREAT night vision.

Good quality video pain to install to to much support from company website. Viewing cameras on swann apps or programs very slow and crashes a LOT but still a good product

Excellent picture quality and very simple to install and set up. The mobile viewer seems a little generic but does do the job. I really like the line crossing feature. I used the alert feature with the line crossing so that I'm alerted when anyone pulls into my driveway. I did have to call customer service and install an update but was very easy. Installed about a month ago and can recommend.

I replaced a 720P system with this more advanced HD system. While the picture is better, the server that Swann utilizes apparently struggles with the increased bandwidth load making it difficult to get live feeds over my IPhone. The older system never faltered to stream live feeds. The set-up was also encumbered to a greater degree and I still have to call customer support to get it to remotely function on the original laptop I used to set it up. The e-mail notification function stopped working on the third day and I haven't been able to reconfigure as I don't have access to the system. I like Swann overall but this performance is less than what I feel I could recommend.

I know little of thing in tech. So, when I can get something that is easy for me to use like Plun-n-play, I'm happy. Super simple system. I've only set it up the cameras to monitor the business. I've not set it up on my phone yet. Very easy to do. There is even temples to mount before you drill your holes. Comes with a signs and stickers for your windows so people know you have an alarm. Note: just me, I wish the cameras had a little more of a wider view. Clear picture. Major recording time.

I like this camera system really extra easy to install my first time installing cameras and was really easy the is a clear view at day and night i had a little hard time on the attic with the wires for the cameras but is totally worth it i don't have to worry about batteries or internet signal with this camera system looks really clean and clear 1080 hp cameras you can zoom in to see better is so many things you can do works perfectly

These set of cameras have been such a hassle free experience and the price was a very good deal. I found a lower price and best buy, as always, price matched to the lower price.

Easy install, cameras have very clear detailed picture and easy to view on main device. Software for viewing on phone or another computer needs upgraded desperately. Very frustrating to work with. Freezes up or won't start. If you need to view on other devices I recommend doing your homework first.

I have been using camera for several weeks. Pictures are very clear. Still working out motion sensor levels as rain and snow set off notifications. While doing the installation of cameras and running the cables to DVR is fairly straight forward it does require a lot of physical labor. Cables longer than 60 feet were also necessary, so I had to buy 4 connectors to hook them together. There is some knowedge of router compatibilty needed to work the Swann View app. Fortunately, my son has that kind of expertise and will help me get that to work better. Also, having enough outlets to plug in DVR, camera power plug, and monitor in addition to anything else you may have that needs power, such as your TV, can be an issue to work around. Also, my ethernet cord to run to my router in another room was way too short, so I had to buy one 30 feet long. I recommend you think about your lay out when purchasing any of these types of systems. Now that I have worked around these types of issues, I am pleased with the end result.
