We had the older model. We decided to update our system and we couldn't be happier. It is very clear and works wonderfully. Only problem is the program for the computer has some kinks in it. We have issues with it on there and so try not to use it. We can bring it up on the tv which is great. And the phone app works decently.

These are some of the clearest cameras I've ever used, full 1080p is nice. Streaming from my phone is a nice feature as well.

This setup is so nice. I can check my cameras from my TV set or even when away from home on my cell phone. I plan to have it setup to notify me while away from home. So far, I am very pleased with the cameras.

The camera gives a nice quality image. I like that I was able to choose the color white verse black, it helps to blend in well with my white exterior eaves. However, the technicians had great difficulty getting the codes for the camera to work. Several calls had to made to get it compatible to my phone.

I bought this set up on sale and glad I did. The picture is very clear even with the night vision. Very simple to set up to monitor from my phone as well. Eight cameras enabled me to cover the entire perimeter of my house and detached garage. With any of these systems, you'll want to buy a few 100' or longer cables to go along with it.

Hopefully will never have to use these to catch a thief. But they are definately serving their purpose.

We purchased this system out of the need for protection for our home when were at work.The set up was fairley easy. The daytime view is awesome, night time view just make sure they are clear of direct light to get a good view. Very sensation to movements bugs will activate the recording. I really love the fact that you are able to connect the system to an app and see what is happening . This is our second camera system because the first set had one of the camera that constantly blacked out. We changed the cord two times and it still happened. We contacted Best Buy associates and they told us to bring it back and we were give the newer version of our system. Thank you!! The system price changed and we received the diffrence. I would recommend this for purchase.

These cameras have excellent clarity in the daytime - at night I find if you don't have enough light, the night vision looks monochromatic, still visible but not as great quality. My advice is to situate the cameras that you want to use for dark areas near a light source as this will help with the quality of the picture - we checked ours by running wires outdoors and hooking them up at night to see how they would look at night with a person there - this is a must if you are installing yourself. Installation was fairly straightforward - I have not viewed past recording yet as we are still installing the rest of the cameras - I will come back and post on the dvr portion once we are fully operational.

So simple to install and picture quality is great. The app makes it easy to manage.

Decent upgrade from my old camera system, clear color picture, great features like zoom and playback. Had up for a couple weeks now and really finding out what is going on around our property. So far only complaint is we mounted the cams outside around our buildings and the wires are stretching some, wish they were wireless. But still a good investment.

Overall the system is very nice. It took a few hours to install and requires at least two people to run the cables and install the cameras. I rep,aced and older system (qsee) that I hated! This system was very user friendly upon system boot and made the connection to my iPhone and iPad very easy! The only negative I have with this system is that the app for my iPhone and iPad is very outdated. To view remotely there is a two second gap in the image and the quality of the image over the app is not the best. That only applies to the live view however. The playback function works very well and looks live as you review it. I've only had the system for a few days, so I'll update later if anything changes. It was worth the $400 I paid for it, but not sure it would be for the original $550 they had it listed for.

I was looking for a wired system to prevent from having wifi problems. Easy to install and easy to set up! My only knock is audio. I've been told there is a way to have audio, but can't get any written instructions:( Anyone have an idea??
