Completely satisfied; only problem was that there are 2 types of cameras (1080 and 720). Don't forget to check which is which.

Replaced a 6 year Old Swann System. 480 Camera to 1080P

I would never buy on line again .. It looks like a return product.

Bad camera system none of the cameras worked. dvr did not have a bnc to monitor port. returned to store.

I don't know what the people are talking about complaining that this is a hard system to operate. I have no experience whatsoever installing something like this, and we did 8 cameras, with wires completely hidden in attic, running to the DVR, all in about 8 hours. So it looks like it takes about an hour per camera, considering that you have to get up on a ladder to install underneath the eaves. The eaves lead to the attic, and from there 60' cables are plenty of cable, and our house is two story 3000+ sqft. Take the time to put the cameras where unreachable by anyone, and the rewards are incredible footage, and tamper-proof system. We set it up to record to our cloud, which we had to pay 18/mo for 2T of storage, which is about 10 days continuum, with high def. Yes there is only four 1080 and the others are 720, but you don't need 1080 everywhere, it is over kill. Get this system and be worry free for many years, as we are sleeping great knowing our killers will be caught by the cloud, and DVR(which they will never find hidden away deep in the attic). We ran HDMI cords in the wall from attic, but it is all hidden under insulation, (except for the venting which we cleverly installed over an attic vent!!!) LOVE IT FOR SURE!!!!!!

I did check reviews before purchase so I did expect problems but never the bad service from Swann. Purchased extra protection with the Geek plan and have already exchanged a bad dvr and bad camera. As far as tech support from Swann, I have called in six different times with no results in remote viewing . After all of this I cannot use the system for the purpose I purchased it for. Swing and a miss!

We purchased this system for our small business. We have installed one of eight cameras so far just to get it going. A little learning curve, but did it in half a day. Very easy once you understand the process. I would highly recommend this to a homeowner/small business. The only reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5 is because I noticed a small delay on the phone app. However, I am still checking that out to see if it can be improved.

The picture from the 1080 cameras is not true 1080. It's not even 720. It's crapppy, grainy, and washed out. The 720 cameras are no better. I went through two tiers of Swann's script-reading, and barely-English-speaking, tech support. No problems found, this is apparently how it's supposed to look if you have an "analog HD" system. You want TRUE HD? Buy a digital system. Don't waste your money on this.

Good product for the price. Install was time consuming.
