Great camera. Nice image. Easy to install. Can see at night very well.

I originally purchased a 4-camera Swann package (two 1080's, two 720's) which also comes with four sets of 60' wire, power supply and 8-channel DVR. Additional wire may be needed for longer lines. I needed three more outside cameras to adequately keep tabs on my property. I went with 1080 cameras @ $99 each. Each camera gives a 90 degree view and enhanced video in low light. The 720's are limited to 77 degree site line and video quality is not as good for outside...I used those inside. Definitely recommend 1080 cameras which is equivalent to 8MM movie camera definition.

Its hard to give a great review of this system. We haven't had one before so we have nothing to compare it too. For starters trying to install it would be very hard since you need tools to drill through brick (and other) walls. Once installed the guide it comes with doesn't really tell you anything to help you outside of the few basics. So you have to mess with settings yourself or look them up online to know what they do. Now, there are some problems with the product itself. For one I was told they have audio. But out of the 6 cameras we bought, none have it. The camera settings show you can do things like mechnicaly tilt the cameras, pan them...etc. But they actually cannot be automatically moved from the settings like they say they can. Wherever you face them is where they will look. Swann didn't have an answer as to why their box reads wrong. The settings as mentioned are very hard to understand. Sometimes you save a setting, but it resets itself. Other times a setting that should be there is not. For example one of the camera does not display in full HD. Instead its reduced to a much lower resolution. Within the first day Best Buy had to come out to replace a camera that wasn't working right. I do feel the cameras are very expensive, as are the cords you need (if you install separate cameras). The better systems should costs thousands, so of course you get what you pay for in this case. With that said the video quality is relatively nice. So far they have helped alot with catching people sneaking across our property, kids fighting in the street and so on. And if you have a flash drive you plug it into the security system and can cut out clips you want to save. We did so and sent a clip to the police. You can also use "mask" settings and click little red boxes where you don't want the camera to record from when you have it set to motion detection. In our case it doesn't start to record every time a car goes by. only records things not on the street. You can also set it to continuous mode which means it never stops recording. From what I seen it can record about a month at a time worth of footage. Rerecording over the oldest footage first. The cameras survived our very brutal winter in temperatures about 3 degrees (-10 with wind chill). Even though I only give it three stars, I'd still say considered the best you can get at Best Buy though.

I am a somewhat savvy person. I can follow directions and figure things out by trial and error if necessary. The web and app layout is unclear. I had to call in twice for help; once because my product name is actually different than what is on the box and again because I could not find the button to setup the video recording. The moment I was directed in the right direction I could start to figure it out. This is not a do it yourself camera so it is a good thing the customer service has been great.

The nice thing it is a full 1080p resolution much better night vision than the 720p version. I have this mounted outside it can see images in good focus for at least 100 feet with no problem. All in all it is very good for the price and to purchase the next step up is double the price so this system serves the purpose without spending more money.

Worth every penny instal is easy as well the app is great especially for my family and mother so she feels safe while away from the house. Crips and clear and very very realisble no lag and no blur.

We bought this extra camera to go with our 4 camera system and very happy with it. Store was out of the 8 camera system so we bought the 4 camera system with an additional camera and everything works beautifully! Very happy with this camera and the system.

We actually bought the package that has 4 cameras & needed one more! We use this in our business & absolutely love it! We can check on things when we aren't there with our phones!! Easy to use!!

These cameras are very nice good picture day and night. Good clarity and detail.

Product is superior for daytime use, I especially like the zoom feature. The night time feature works well but if it is near a light source keep it turned off due to glare.

SWANN MAKES GOOD CAMERA PRODUCTS THAT TIE IN TO YOUR EXISTING SYSTEM LIKE A BREEZE

The box says 1080p but the fine print says it supports 1080p. Come with 720p. The cables in the box were bad so you have to send them back and they sent new ones which was a but of a hassle. We went ahead and got a 1080p camera and it really is awesome.

System is easy to install, numerous online helpful videos, live customer service (if you have issues or questions) is #1.

This camera with the Swann system was an excellent purchase for the price, quality and a do-it-yourself project.

Camera was as easy to install as the original system cameras. Setup was simple and works just as good as my original system cameras.
