My church has installed several of these cameras and we are satisfied with the quality and ease of set up. I also enjoy how small they are. They are easy to adjust once you mount them and they also have a shield that you can adjust to block out sunlight glare.

Swann - Pro-642 Indoor/Outdoor Security Camera - White has turned out to be a great Camera. The range and night vision are great. Also the way the camera is designed for angle adjustment gives you many options for camera placement.

We have the basic 2 camera 4 channel dvr swann package. this camera is much better in picture quality than the ones that came with our package. I do have to say I have less trouble with this system(monitoring on my phone, computer & tablet) than I do with my installed professional security system.

I purchased this camera to add to my Swann DVR system that came with four cameras and an 8-channel DVR. I haven't permanently mounted the camera anywhere as its only task is to focus on an indoor-outdoor temperature display so I can keep an eye on the internal temperature of our condo in North Dakota this winter while we are staying in Arizona. The only complaint that I have with the camera is with the mounting gimbals. Having mounted four other ones, I found that depending upon the specific adjustment needed to aim the camera, one of the gimbal tightening screws may be very hard to reach with the allen wrench. This is because the aluminum weather shield extends in such a way as to block access to that adjustment screw in some positions. If you are standing on a ladder trying to adjust this screw while the camera is mounted in position, it's very difficult. You may have to dismount the camera, tighten the screw and remount it.

It did everything I needed it to do to replace a security camera that failed! One of my video cameras went out on my security system and I picked one of these up to replace it. I needed a unit for outdoor use, and it had to have good clarity and night vision. This unit does everything I needed it to do. I even wanted it to plug into an RCA plug to a computer security system computer video card and it came with an adapter to do that. Here is what is in the box: * Camera wiring cable that is 60 feet long. It has a Y-split on each end to allow you to connect the video and the power cables. The ends of the cable are marked so you know which one to attach to the camera and which one should be attached to the power supply. * The camera itself * The camera has a built in mounting bracket that is adjustable. * A sun and rain shield that fits on top of the camera. * A BNC to RCA plug adapter * A power supply for use "indoors" that is rated at 100 to 140 VAC and 50/60 hertz. The power cable is 48 inches long. The output is 12 VDC at ½ Amp. It is UL approved. * Mounting hardware to hang the camera. * An instruction manual in English, Spanish and French. * A set of four security stickers to put on your doors to advise people that you have video camera surveillance. The camera is weather proof and the specs on the web page state that the camera is IP67. That means that the camera is submersible to 39 inches of water depth for 30 minutes. The wiring is fast and simple and in my case I just powered up the camera and plugged it into the video input of one of the computer camera cards and it came on. In my video I show a shot of a house 200 feet away and I also put the camera in a totally dark bathroom and you could see like it was daylight. This camera is ideal for outdoor or indoor use. It would be great for a garage, hallway, or outside use to monitor one of your doors. The wiring cable should be installed in a conduit outdoors but if you can't do that you should wrap the connectors with black electricians tape in several layers to waterproof them and keep them from coming unplugged. In the daylight the camera records in color and it is high resolution and it works well. It is 700 TVL with good resolution and it can display HD at 960H. At night it uses 36 infrared LEDs to allow the camera to see up to 82 feet and record in black and white. The infrared LEDs are rated for a life of 10,000 hours of nighttime operation. The LEDs are invisible to the human eye but they may attract bugs at night and the spiders like the bugs. You will begin to see spider webs in the video and you will have to clean the cameras about 3 or 4 times a year for dust on the lens and spider webs. I have had to do this for many years. The camera has a 57° viewing angle. Its operation is good for home or business and for use indoors and outdoors. It is ruggedly designed and is good for monitoring your home, office, yard, garage, out buildings and storage areas, driveway or parking lot, hallways and entry doors of your home. It did everything I needed it to do and I would buy it again.

I got it for fathers day, and waited until now to installed, cause i wanted to do it myself, i got the one with 4 cameras, 9 channel,so i found out i needed more cameras and i had to buy 2 more, and i had to pay 79 each. I am happy with it so far, not so happy with the digital zoom. And very happy with how eSy is to add it to your tablet or android phone.

its is a product that really help you, easy to install and the best you don't have to pay a monthly service fee to check your home. I love the mobile app that comes with the cameras. This was a extra camera that we wanted, but you need like the unit too (we got it before)

My husband uses these camera's for his job. He says that they do well for what he using them for and the picture is clear.

This is the fourth camera to complete my home security system. The camera was easy to install and the night vision is excellent out to about 80 feet. It is adequate for several more feet. The image is clear. I anticipate this camera will give me the same service as the other 3 in my system.

REPLACED A CAMERA THAT WENT BAD ON EXISTING SYSTEM PLUGGED RIGHT UP AND BETTER PICTURE THAN BEFORE

My system came with two cameras,didnt want to purchase one with more cameras,,,wasnt sure of the picture quality...once I got my system i was so happy with the picture and night vision,great deal for the price,got myself an extra camera knowing the quality of the picture will be the same,great addition for your already existing system!!

Clear picture, even at night. Infrared works well in lit and dark environments. Easy set up and mounting. Nice camera for the monet

This was the seventh camera that I bought to add to my colection around my home. It is clear during the day and even better at night. I have tried others, but this is the best so far.

These have a great image. The field of view is pretty good. So far, they hold up in bad storms.

This camera is pretty good quality for the money. Takes great pictures, lets you know who is a the door . It takes a pictures and sends it to my email every 3 min. you will need to set up a email just for the pictures. Overall this is a good camera. Will be buying some more.
