They are real easy to install. And very clear pictures. The good thing is you view the cameras on your smart phone

Swan makes great products, but consider Ethernet NVR system if you want current technology, This system uses bnc cables and coax and then you still will also need power to get to the cameras... lots of wires to run. Also, if you are worried about night vision, there are better systems... cost considering. In my opinion, this is an average quality system, so if you are OK with that, this is a great option.

this was purchased for my small business after a break in. it's given me back peace of mind knowing i can watch my business at all times. the dvr is easy to use and review footage.

It is worth the work that it takes to set it is all up. For peace of mind I am totally satisfied. Once you plan the locations for your cameras and define the field of view you want to cover it is simply labor to bring it all together. It would be nice in my situation if the cameras had a "wireless" option because I have a couple of remote buildings. Anyway, I was able to make the SWANN Pro system work and it is doing the job very well. I have posted 24 hour surveillance signs and set alarms to record any movements - I recommend this unit.

This system is great for a large house. It can cover inside and out

It works good for viewing on the monitor at home but i cant get it to connect to the internet to view from my phone. it only works with certain modems. and thats a big reason why i wanted it. but other than that its ok i guess.

Updated the cameras at my restaurant and these ones had an excellent picture quality, nice and clear, and the price wasnt bad either.

There should a flashing light on the dvr indicating motion/movement. I have an older and cheaper system (bunker hill) that I purchased a few years ago from harbor freight, that has that feature, I searched through the swann brochure for information but could not find any information on the topic. This is the second swann system I purchased, I had to return the first one two days later due to a faulty dvr, unfortunatly I bought the last box at the closest best buy that is 25 miles away, so I ended up having to drive 50 miles one way to get a replacement, the tech rep. With swann support offered to mail a replacement, but we were due to leave town on vacation and needed to get the system up and running as soon as possible.

overall a good system, only bad thing is i had to buy cable extensions for some of the outer cameras that were the farthest away from the unit.

Problem is it comes with 8 camera and 9 screens...I am sure that is to get you to buy another but bad marketing because the price is higher than with the set...

I would have originally given this product 3 stars, I’ve had to replace the adapters twice, so I have bought 6 adapters since I’ve had it, than I just got told my DVR is broken from Swanns customer service. I told the guy so your telling me I paid $550 for something to last 2 and 1/2 years and that price isn’t even including the 6 adapters I have bought. He said yes that can happen. I said absolutely terrible product, will never buy brand again.

Just love everything about this camera. My family and I feel secure that from every angle off our home we have a great view.

I love the ease of installation with this product. A very simple plug and play. Being able to monitor my home from my iPhone is great. I would recommend this product to anyone needing home surveillance.

swann customer service was outstanding in helping me set up the remote viewing. they were experts! it is nice to be able to view my home from anywhere, by cellphone or computer.

it work ok for a home security system. Documentation is a bit lacking but ok.
