The system is easy to install and link it to the internet. The price is reasonable with the quality of the video and installation.

The install was fairly easy once we figured out how to drill the holes and bring the wire inside the house :) The night vision is decent. It has trouble picking up faces clearly even under porch lights but you can get a good enough idea. Daytime view is great! If I had to purchase cameras again, I may get ones that offer a wider viewing distance. this set is rather limited but it does the job.

Jumped through all the hoops with Arlo software and firmware problems and the Nest cam basically turning into a web cam without their unreasonably expensive cloud support/software. Even with a very high-end home wifi network and a 50mbps fiber internet connection the latency with both of these systems was excessive. Also lacking was any real flexibility in either of the software platforms to manage the cameras. Wanted to like em, but no joy and I returned both. The lower end (720p / 500GB DVR) 8 camera Swann system was sitting there on sale for not much more than either of the wireless cams..., for EIGHT cameras, a 500 gig DVR, all the cabling, and what turned out to be a very comprehensive software platform giving extreme flexibility over camera settings, event triggering and notification, scheduling, playback, live view from all cams 24/7 that doesn't use ANY internet bandwidth unless you are remotely accessing the system, and all I had to do was spend the time to wire it..., which actually took less time than what I spent fighting the shortcomings of the other two systems. For the money, this is definitely a five star system. The only shortcoming was the short cable on the mouse which was remedied by getting a $10 wireless USB mouse..., which I would recommend for anyone buying one of these systems. A weekend DIY project for a homeowner, or an easy job for a cable, telco, or Geek squad person if you don't want to mess with the installation. Lastly, I wasn't at all disappointed by the 720p resolution and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the app. One additional note about this system is that the cameras are video only but there is a provision for adding a microphone to the channel 1 input. No two-way talk back, though.

These cameras are really easy to install. The only bad thing about these are the cable length. I think all cameras no matter what brand should come with 100 feet of cable. I honestly only had to buy one extra extender cable at $35 so it wasn't too bad. But over all it's a great product, simple to install and hook up and viewing from the smartphone app works great.

Good system. Easy to install inside & outside. We installed 7 cameras outside and 1 inside. Purchased a 19 inch tv for monitor. System is quick and easy to learn. Night vision is good if there is enough lighting. We have a camera in between 2 houses and we need to mount an additional light to have clearer view. Day vision is fantastic, clear view of everything.

This camera system was very easy to install. I installed cameras under the overhang around the perimeter of my house. If you can use a drill and screwdriver, you can install this system. After cameras are up and wires pulled, everything else is plug and play with easy connections. I did use better screws than what are included though. Great system!!

This is my second system i have bought. a good deterrent to would be theives and it works well the only thing you need to be aware of is that the wiring at the camera is very light duty so do not pull on it i broke on trying to pull it through a hole that was tight.

I purchased one system for my business and used it for a year with no problems. Other business owners asked about it, and after showing them how it works and how easy it is to use the app on a phone, they also bought swann camera system and paid me to install them. Definitely a great value for the price!

Basically a plug and play system. You do have to run the cable, which maybe beyond some peoples abilities, but mounting and adjusting is simple. Images are clear and the app works well on the phone. I have not tried to review any video yet but there is no reason to suspect it will not work.

Nice unit power adapter went out in 5 months and was replaced in 1 week, clear pictures and very easy to install. Gives me a good sense of security and documents events that can be good evidence in a court of law, I am very satisfied

Picture is clear on TV but not as clear on phone app. Next time I'll spend the extra money for the 1080p. Wish cords were longer, could barely reach one camera spot. Had to drill guide holes for mounting screws. Took a while to figure out menu screen. Night vision works good but can't read license plates. Overall happy.

We got a really good deal on this product so I was a little nervous about the quality. When looking at similar camera sets of other brands, the price difference was huge. I am pleased to say that the video quality was better than I thought and we are very satisfied with the purchase!

i went to the store to buy a completely different system but noticed this was on sale. i was at first hesitant due to the price. after gettting home and hooking everything up i was completely satisfied with my purchase.
