Nice appliance for odor elimination. Does not remove all wrinkles, especially cotton and jeans. Not for removing stains. Price is too high for just this functionality.

This is a lifesaver for me to refresh my clothes fast and easy. It is a big huge device but is worth every penny. It does what it says. You can also use water in the swash pods.

I've never seen a Swash before but wouldn't go without one again! It is so easy to use and leaves work clothing in just about perfect condition.

I use this machine in place of constantly doing to the cleaners. Hanging can be a someone cumbersome at times but overall this machine has proven its worth!!!

This is a great way to de-wrinkle and freshen clothes without having to use an iron. It's especially helpful with silks and other delicate fabrics.

I've owned this machine for approximately 2 months now and it works great. It does exactly as described and is a huge time saver when I need to freshen or de wrinkle my clothes. I look forward to when the pods will be available locally, as my nearest BB is an hour and a half away.

I was a little worried about purchasing this product since it is brand new and there aren't many detailed user reviews out there yet. I bit the bullet and picked one up this afternoon, and so far I am very satisfied. The reason I bought the Swash is because I can't stand taking things to the dry cleaner, waiting a couple days, and then having to go back to pick up my stuff. That was the main thing I was looking for a solution to, but after 'swashing" a couple of clothing items I have discovered a couple of other benefits as well. About the item: The design is simple and the unit is mostly made of plastic. Long-term durability is a concern, but for the price I didn't expect it to be made of gold. It is fairly tall, but this is not a bad thing since the height allows you to wash longer clothing items. There is nothing to assemble. Just unbox, pop in a pod, and you're ready to swash. The only buttons are the 10 and 15 minute swash cycle buttons and a X button to stop when in operation. Incredibly easy to setup and use. Two hangers and 12 pods are included. The included pods are 3 different scents - awaken, recharge, and unwind (4 of each). Does it work: In a word - yes. First, understand that this will probably not replace your iron, washing machine, and/or dry cleaner completely. But so far I have found it to do exactly what the manufacturer claims: remove light wrinkles, remove odors, and restore fit. The pods all smell GREAT, with 'recharge' being my favorite scent. Every time I used it the entire room smelled good and fresh. Each pod is for one clothing item, and there is a reservoir at the bottom to collect any liquid formed during operation. I washed three different items and here are my results: Item 1 - cotton dress shirt, clean but very wrinkled. First impression is this thing is very quiet. There's a quick mechanical noise at the start (2 seconds tops) and then it just sounds like a desk fan for the remainder of the cycle. The Swash knocked out all but the toughest crease wrinkles. It also did pretty good on those annoying deformations of the sleeve cuff that you get after washing/drying. Item 2 - Dry clean only suit jacket, worn 3 times since last wash, light to moderate wrinkles. The Swash removed the typical odor that starts to form after wearing a jacket a couple times. I feel like the odor was mostly removed and not just covered up by the pod scent. Wrinkles were gone and fit was restored. Item 3 - Black denim jeans, worn God knows how many times since last wash, slightly wrinkled. This is where I found a great benefit I hadn't thought of before the purchase. We all hate washing black denim because of fading and shrinking. I usually febreeze them every couple of wears, but it doesn't always leave them as fresh as I'd like. The Swash did a great job of refreshing the jeans and there was absolutely NO fading whatsoever. A couple wrinkles remained (wrinkles in denim are tough to get out anyway) but they were visibly reduced. Now for the things i'd like to see improved. Pants are a little tricky to hang. You place the legs over the top of the hanger and then clip them in. The hanger only rests in grooves on the hooks attached to the unit, so it would slide out and fall while I was trying to hang/clip the pants legs. It would be a simple fix to design the hanger to 'lock' into the hooks so it doesn't fall out. I would also like to see a wider hanger for pants. The jeans I washed were slim fit (not skinny) and they did fit over the hanger, but my wider legged jeans and slacks will hang over the side. Lastly, and most importantly, the manufacturer should taper the inside of the plastic lip surrounding the front of the unit. it is flat and a button on my suit jacket got caught when opening the drawer. Luckily I didn't pull hard enough to rip the button off but I could see that potentially happening. Overall I am impressed with the Swash. It does what the manufacturer claims and leaves your clothes/room smelling great. It probably won't eliminate your need to dry clean, but it will extend the time in between trips to the cleaner. I can also see this being very handy on those mornings where I'm running late for work and don't have time to iron. With a couple of easy no-cost design changes this is a 5 star product. Note: Per the instruction manual, this item is not recommended for silk, leather, velvet, suede and fur. I'm a guy so I don't have a lot of silk, velvet or fur, and I wasn't expecting to be able to throw a leather coat in the Swash. But this may be something for others to consider before purchasing.

This is the best thing since the iron and ironing board! What a fantastic, innovative money-saving solution.

Saving tons of money in dry cleaning. We love it. We also use it on dedicates. Love having fresh cloths between dry cleanings.

It does a wonderful job of freshening up our clothes and saves time on ironing too. We couldn't be happier with the SWASH unit.

The unit is able to leave my clothes smelling fresh! However, the black color version look more solid, and fits better as an appliance. Off white makes it look old.

User friendly, very quiet, freshens nicely, but the clothes still come out a tad wrinkled. The SWASH pods smell ah-mazing!! I would totally recommend this product for people that spend way too much at the dry cleaners.

The system takes time to learn how to drape items for best results. Works best with one item.

I purchased this online and picked up in my local store in 4 days. I wear dress shirts and sport coats regularly for work and the dry cleaning bill tends to add up throughout the year, so I wanted to give the Swash a shot. My highlights of the machine- 1- works immediately out of the box, just plug it in and go. 2-comes with 12 swash pods to get you going immediately. 3-first time running the machine I took a Banana Republic dress shirt that had been balled up in a hamper for over a month and the put it in the swash for my first swashing attempt. This shirt was ridiculously wrinkled and was nowhere near acceptable to wear out in public in its current state prior to the swash. I hung it up on the supplied swash hanger, clipped it tight with the swash clips, put the pod in and hit the button for the 15 minute cycle. When it was done I opened the swash door, and I would say 95-98% of all the wrinkles were gone and it smelled fresh! Now do not expect the same exact results as if you were picking a shirt up from the dry cleaner (no starch, sleeves not quite as crisp as dry cleaning, etc) but this took a shirt that had been balled up for a month and made it absolutely wearable out in public in 15 minutes of swash. Using the swash easily will allow me to wear dress shirts multiple times before requiring an eventual trip to the dry cleaners. 4- I repeated that same process on a sweater and sport coat as well. Also incredibly pleased with the results. Now my cons- 1-packaging is huge and pretty heavy. You will definitely need a large SUV or pick up truck. I drive a pick up and this took up the majority of the truck bed. 2- can really only swash one garment at a time. Would be nice to be able to do multiple 3- swash pods can largely only be purchased online. Not a huge deal but it would be nice to be able to pick some up at the store when buying my regular laundry detergent. 4-it is a rather large machine, especially with the garment door open. We have a large closet so it is not a huge issue, but if you are tight on space, definitely measure before hand. Overall I am extremely pleased with this machine. It will not give you the same results as true dry cleaning, but the results I've received are more than acceptable for being able to wear previously unwearable clothes out again. This machine will cut my dry cleaning by probably half throughout the year.
