Customers value the VOLT eBike for its affordability, long battery life, smooth ride, and ease of assembly. However, they have concerns about the uncomfortable seat, the bike's size, the thin tires, and its weight.

The bike is nice and fast, it’s just the wheels are thin and get flat easy.

I was originally excited to get the bike for such a good price. I am only 2.5 miles from work and I have a car that is less than reliable so I figured I would get an ebike while I wait for car prices to level out. The only real issue I have is the height of the bike. I am 5'8" and this is way too tall. It would be nice if they offered different heights/sizes. I have the seat all the way down and it is still to tall. This bike seems to be made for people over 6' tall. Other than that, it seems like a good bike for the money.

There is a great deal to like about this bike and a few interesting choices that were made. As a complete package, it is very much as advertised, and everything works great. For starters the biggest points on the list are about its top speed and battery life. It can go 20mph without any trouble and I have no doubt it will get the mileage on the charge as stated with over a dozen miles on the clock so far with no movement from the battery gauge. I like the features on the control panel, it has the battery gauge, odometer, speedometer, and motor assist indicator. You can adjust the electric assist to 3 different levels, turn on and off the headlight, and of course motor power from that panel.
Riding an electric bike is a different type of experience. Depending on the assist level you’re using changes the amount of work you do to keep moving. The throttle is stiffer than I would prefer it takes a fair amount of effort to keep twisting on it for longer periods of time. Turning the assist down means it acts more like a normal gearless bike, otherwise if you want you can have it put the power down for you.
The styling on this bike is great, the battery being built into the frame means it looks fairly normal instead of being so obvious. Assembly was easy just like any other bike I have had in the past. Put on the front wheel, handlebars, seat, and pedals and good to go. It came with most of a charge as well, and topping it off took an hour or so. Charging is convenient, it has a little plug on the side of the frame with a rubber dust cover and the charger itself indicates whether it is charging or full.
Now for the interesting choices. This particular bike has a very large frame and 28” wheels. I am 5’11” and have the seat at the lowest height and I am barely tall enough to get on the bike. Speaking of the seat, I know it is not uncommon for the included saddle to not be the best but this one is abysmal. I could only go a mile before I couldn’t stand it anymore. I have already replaced it with a better one to fix that problem, but it feels like for a bike this price the saddle should be usable at least. Personally, I don’t love 700C tires as they get flats so easily, but they ride smooth on pavement. I also wish it had disc brakes but that is a small nitpick.
Overall, this is a fun bike that has a lot to offer in an attractive package. I am really enjoying the new world of ebikes and what having one brings to the experience of riding. I have had many bikes in my life and this one is the most unique and interesting. I am happy with how it works and would recommend it.

Bought this in the middle of January on sale and after an easy assembly couldn't wait to get it outdoors. Took a couple 20 mile rides as soon as the temperature hit 40. I was really impressed with its ability to handle hills and its range, both were greater than stated. As an older adult who rides a lot for exercise i wanted something to mainly help with the hills to extend where ii was able to ride and this has worked perfectly. The one gear is set perfectly for my riding style. I get a great workout and a little help when i need it.

i purchased this bike for the 499,99 price. its a good deal considering other ebikes that cost a little less with more features. i am 5ft 7in and toes can touch the ground so i stradle the frame to stop. place my old memory gel double spring wide seat. in order for me to ride comfortably i relocated the red reflector to the back frame under the seat, now the seat is 2inches lower. ill get a higher attachment for the handle bar so i can ride with my back straight. it appears to be a high quality bike. its my first 27 inch bike. its lighter than my 26 inch bike.

I have been looking for an eBike for several years. I ordered this one without seeing it in-person from BestBuy. It was very easy to assemble (install front wheel, pedals, and seat). Tighten handlebars. Took a long ride on it and it worked great. Seems like a high quality bike. Not sure how all eBikes work, but this motor "assists" while you pedal. It basically will keep you going 20 mph on mostly flat trails. This is a road type bike, so look elsewhere if you want something for off road/path.

After 5 months driving I got over 1500 miles on it
What can I say it’s worth not money
Little bit more speed would help too at least 30 miles :)

Got a ridiculous deal on this bike for my son so I got it for him. He loved it for a few days, but after getting caught in a rain storm, the bike stopped working properly. We were able to exchange it, but I am not certain that this won't happen again. Time will tell--if it happens again, I will repost.

Overall, this is a fun bike. I can venture out further from home knowing if I get tired I have "help" getting home. The main problem is that this bike is super heavy. Pedaling isn't too hard but it doesn't feel quite like a standard bicycle.

based on the sale price 499 at my door. grand slam - what more can you want - good quality parts - a motor a battery a throttle/ and it has a cool factor - single speed fixie. i can use this thing for a couple of years - and resell it for 300. so for 200 bucks - i got a thing that makes my car unnecessary most days. - dont leave it out in the rain- another reviewer said his display bought the farm.

Great Ebike for the price! I have use this a couple dozen times, only had to charge it 1 time so far and it was a quick charge. The adjustable assistance levels are balanced, headlight is decent, and battery life was surprisingly good. Definitely worth it if you can get it for the $500 sale price.
