I've had my switch lite since they came out, so i got 3 more for my kids ( so i dont have to hear them fight) I like it as my handheld option and never had any issues with it. The switch lite is great for Nintendo first party games and plenty of indys on the cheap, battery life is dismal however any portable cell phone battery charger can extend the battery life. Nintendo's market place is a bit hard to navigate and there is no reviews so you have to research the games.

I was debating buying this or the OG Switch but I hadn't had a handheld system since I had the DS Lite and missed the experience. I really like this system, it feels great in my hands, it's easy to transport, and it's convenient. I mainly bought it to play Animal Crossing but I'll definitely be enjoying the other gaming options I have!! Battery life could be a little better but it's a cool device for the price and for people like me who don't have the regular Switch.

Nintendo Switch is still great, even years later. I purchased this as a birthday gift for my son. Easy to setup, as usual. Fun to play, as expected. My son really love it.

I ordered this a little less than a month ago, and I received it in a week. I am absolutely 100% satisfied with it! I play Animal Crossing New Horizons on it every single day, and I can also watch YouTube or Hulu on it if I want a break from ACNH. I get about 4-5 hours of continuous gameplay on a charge, so it lasts a good while. So happy I was able to get one!

I love my Nintendo Switch Lite! My OLED model stays primarily connected to my TV, so when I’m kicking back in my recliner I’ll grab my Switch Lite and use it for some awesome handheld gaming. It also is easy to transport on trips. A very sweet machine!

Super glad to finally catch a Switch in stock. Though I originally wanted the full Switch console. I ended up giving that up(because of stock issues) and going for the lite version. I don’t regret that decision at all. It is a beautiful console! Everything works nicely, the buttons and joysticks feel and work great. My one complaint and it’s a pretty big one, is that the battery life is absolute garbage. I knew it was gonna be bad when I bought it. So I’m willing to deal with it. But it rubs me the wrong way that this console is marketed for strictly handheld gaming and portability. Not very portable when it has to be plugged into the wall every 4-5 hours. If it weren’t for the battery, I’d give it 5 stars easily. Other than that, I’m super happy with my Switch lite and the fact that I can finally play Animal Crossing: NH

Such great hardware, slick & easy to use. Battery life isn't that great though. It lasts, for me, about 2 to 3 hours when I play Zelda but I learned with a adjusted brightness it could last another hour. The system is very smooth as well & can slip out of your hands if you aren't careful but a good grip for the Lite can help that. Overall a great system.

Absolutely love the look and feel of this Nintendo switch lite, Well built and quality feel in the hands. Battery life is way better than the original switch and much more firm feeling. Definitely worth the price tag and great job, Nintendo!

You may be on the fence about what version of the Nintendo Switch to pick up. If you play mostly on the TV, the regular model Nintendo Switch may be your best choice. But if you typically play most of the time in handheld only mode, the Nintendo Switch Lite may be just the right fit for you. Let me be honest and tell you that I have both models, the regular model as well as the lite model at the current time and actually prefer to use the lite more. Not only is it more comfortable to use in handheld mode given that it is one piece, but the overall build quality is much better as well. Of course the regular model of the Switch is more versatile in the way you can change the joycons to suit your mood at the time or add a traditional D-Pad for old school gaming. The lite on the other hand already has its controller permanently attached to the unit which makes it feel more stable and secure when playing in handheld mode, but is also has a traditional D-Pad built in which is different from the the four quadrant design of the regular model Switch joycon design. I really like the turquoise color of this system and it reminds me of earlier handheld consoles like the Gameboy Color and SP models that I used to play in my younger days. Just think about how you typically play games like this and whether the TV functionality of the regular model is something you would use on a regular basis, or do you play your games handheld all the time. Of course, it wouldn't hurt to have both models either.

Got this for my daughter's 5th birthday so she could play Minecraft with her sister. She loves it. For those wondering, 5 might be a bit too young, but my daughter has been playing with her sister Switch for some time now so she has experience.

I'm not an experienced video game player, but I enjoy the Lite just fine. It's great for me. I don't really care about playing on the TV. Feels like a new age GameBoy! The only complaint I have is that the right stick gets in the way when using the A/B/X/Y buttons. But oh well it's still fun to play with! I got the blue one and it's very pretty :)

I’ve been wanting one so bad and finally caved and bought it! Best decision by far! The Garrick’s are amazing and I love that it’s tough screw! I can now play all my favorite games anywhere!!!

Purchased this for my daughters 17th bday to play Animal Crossing together with my younger 15yro daughter. They have a great time hanging out and playing together and playing with friends when it’s been hard during stay at home and social distancing. This plus plenty of other non-electronic hobbies and interests has helped to avoid spending too much time on social media. I’m even thinking about getting one now so the three of us can play together!

My son loves his Nintendo switch lite. We purchased 2 games that’s compatible with it and the console also comes with free apps. It’s easy to use and kid friendly. The Nintendo switch lite is best for car rides or just an entertainment when you have nothing else to do. Very affordable!
