I've always been a fan of Nintendo's game consoles and handhelds. So far I've been enjoying my switch. The only thing I would like to point out as someone with carpal tunnel and arthritis that makes this a bad idea for a handheld device is the weight of the console. I understand that this is Nintendo's first time combining the two together so I'm hopeful for the next-generation console. Also the battery life is low but with a portable battery pack and car charger it's easily dealt with. The $35 estore credit was a nice bonus to have. Used it to get a few in game extras.

Great things to say about this include the awesome feature of removable remotes to combine for 1 big remote or use as two separate remotes.
Cons: battery life, docking station that is cheap plastic—would scratch screen and it requires wiggling to even get it to connect, no Bluetooth, low internal storage, and for a home console poor graphics (think PS3 level)

I always wanted a nintendo switch and today I got mine as a gift from my wife happy 2 years to the switch by the way. This system is amazing its portable and you can also play on the big screen it's really powerful for such a small device. The specs aren't top level like a ps4 or xbox but this is selling better then both of them because it's a family friendly and nice nintendo has always had amazing games. I love how you can use the controllers to play with two people. I got super smash ultimate and man iv been playing for hours, I cant wait to get more games.

The Switch is a great gaming console that has taken Portability to a whole new level. Purchased this switch for my son, which I have been peeking over his shoulder constantly watching it....wanting to play on it..
He is not as locked to it as like he is with his Xbox One. Yet I do see him grabbing for it everytime we leave the house while his xbox sit's there watching us leave in its not-portable bulkiness. On the appearance side, the Nintendo Switch isn't much to look at first glance. Without the JoyCons attached it looks no different from the average tablet but you start to understand its advantages to the average tablet very quickly after playing with it. Not to happy with the price of New Games that still hover around $60, but that's every console. There already is a great selection for how short of time the switch has been out. My wife wasn't happy with the carrying cases available for the switch. All in all it's an Awesome Gaming Console that I havent heard any complaints about yet. Also my son is getting to experiance some of the Legendary Nintendo games I grew up with which a great thing to watch my son experiance for the first time.

I was skeptical at first about this system when it first came out. Had stuck with the Wii U but once the next system comes out, the previous system is put out of commission with all the games only being made for the newer system. The graphics on here are great! Really easy & simple to connect to your TV and set up right away. If you love Nintendo, you'll love the Switch.

Purchasing this system was the best decision ever made. I have two kids close in age and while one is playing on one system, the other one is able to play on the other system. It's cool that you can travel and play with it at the same time. A 2-n-1!!!

What more to say? Its Nintendo and once again they come through. Fantastic 1st party games, and AAA 3rd party games this time around all with portability. Kids love it and so do I if I can pry it away from them. Great purchase. Just wish games were a little cheaper especially for the older ports

The console is everything the Wii U hoped to be: a device that would be portable enough to entice local cooperative gaming. With its portability and diversity in controls and library of enticing multiplayer games, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique gaming experience.

Upgraded from a 3DS. The best part is being able to play both portable AND big screen. Feel like I get more use out of this rather than simply when I travel as with the DS. Paired with a Pro controller and it's a fantastic game system for home or travel use.

Maybe I'm just crazy about it, but I really like this console. Its great for portable play, looks great on a TV and has some of the best games I've ever played. I've bought 3 now and I still look forward to future versions.

So many great games, and just fantastic that you can be playing on your TV and then instantly take it on the go. Be prepared to shell out for some accessories tho, like an SD card, controllers, that kind of thing.

Love this thing. I really only ever play it in handheld mode, and it runs great. The battery life could be better, but that's an easy fix with a portable charger. There's a big library of games available for it too.

My second Switch. The ability to play anywhere is amazing. Play at home, in a waiting room, wherever. Not as powerful as the competitors, but the portability and huge game library makes it a must buy for any gamer.

Enjoy the improved graphics over the old Wii. Mario games are just as addictive as before and it is cool to revisit classic Mario games from way back.
If you are an adult, the controller that comes with the unit will drive you crazy because the buttons are very small and uncomfortable. You will need to be mindful of how much charge is left on your controller, otherwise you will find that the command buttons will fail to respond when you need them to.

Not hiccups yet for the excellent console. The portability is nice! But it's best played on the big screen! Wish the battery life was a little bit longer.

I bought my switch with the intention of only playing mario party and mario cart, but ended up buying so many other titles on the nintendo game store. I also picked up another joycon controller which is an absolute must. It is so great during gatherings with both kids and adults. love that the switch has so many titles where 4 people can play in the same room on the same system just like the good ol' days.

This system can be played on a large screen TV or a hand held device. Very worth the money. I just wish the prices of the games were lower.
