Great game and system. Bought this for christmas and was a great deal for the price. The switch is more fun than i thought and a great tool for family time.

The Switch is the most versatile, family oriented gaming console to be made so far. There are games for the whole family. Our 5 year old and 11 year old love it. We love that it can be played on the t.v. while playing multi-player, or as a handheld on car trips, etc. switching between the hand held and the TV is super easy, just place the console on the dock and it’s ready to go! Mario Kart 8 is our families favorite game so far! Super fun! If you have kids (of any age, or across many age ranges) this is the gaming console for you!

Wonderful gaming system. I got this for myself as an early Christmas present and it was really worth it. Simple to set up, easy to use and great for family game nights. Its been a really boring year due to the world situations, but this product brings me joy. I can play with friends from across the country. They have a wide selection of games and its really fun. Would highly recommend this to any one living a depressing life. It will help you keep yourself happy and balanced.

This console is a literal joy to play either at home or on the go. I’ve been a loyal, exclusive PS owner for about 20 years, but my first Nintendo system since the GameCube reminded me of why I loved playing Nintendo games— the childlike joy you get when playing a Mario or Zelda game is just tough to replicate. Nintendo did a swell job with the interface of this system as well. So many things outside of the software just brought a smile to my face when using it. Every sound effect and click made seems designed to generate fun. Oh and the ease with which you can just drop your Switch onto the dock and watch it charge…wow. If you’ve ever been frustrated breaking a phone charger when trying to plug in your phone you’ll be impressed with this aspect. And the free Mario Kart game is a blast but the real joy is all the classic NES and SNES games you get for free with your Switch Online service. I find it hard to imagine not renewing when it runs out. A few negatives—if you’re used to performance with a high end PC or PS5 like I have, don’t buy this system for the performance, but for the fun of the games. First party games are almost without fail always excellent, as Nintendo prides itself on them. One game I bought surprised me at just how slow the frame rate can drop, so beware of that. Also the additional service for N64 games and Genesis titles seems overpriced by comparison to the basic Switch online setup. Not recommended if you’re counting pennies. I’ve had the system for around a month now and it’s great to play in bed before falling asleep or on the couch with my bigscreen. I’ve brought it to the park once on a particularly balmy winter afternoon for a nice change of pace. Keeps a charge for a good, long while. All the games I’ve bought so far have been great but that’s for a different review. A great, fun system

We bought for our younger children and they love it. They have many game selections so we can find a game that works for each child.

Awesome video game system, and I love the portability and ability to play on the go. Despite not having the latest technology, the Switch definitely has some of the best games on the market. The last time I purchased a Nintendo system, it was the SNES in the mid 1990's, so I'm having a great time reliving some fun memories with the latest editions of Zelda and Mario!
