I was anxious about purchasing such an expensive system, but in the end I love it! It’s great for multiplayer and has has a nice variety of ways to play. The portable system aspect sort of means you get two systems in one, and when I had a blackout, I was able to play using the portable version.

Love Best Buy for making this available in the time of the pandemic. The app is amazing as it shows if there are some in stock or not. I have had no issues with the model sold on here. No funny things like other websites such as overpricing or being a refurbished system. Even though it was shipped to my home, I received it quickly and the packet itself was perfectly intact.

This is perhaps the most intuitive gaming console ever made. The ability to grab and go as a portable handheld device or to dock for a big-screen session at your leisure is awesome. But equally awesome is the system's sleep function, which essentially works as an extended pause feature in any game at any point in the game. It makes picking up where you left off so simple and is especially handy in games with limited "save points" that would otherwise force you to wait until you get to a save point before you can turn off the game. You can even pause and sleep right in the middle of a boss fight if something comes up that needs your attention, and then you can pick it back up anytime and resume. Everything is so smooth, and the vast selection of games means there's something for everyone. I highly recommend it.

My 7 year old loves this. It’s easy to connect to the tv and disconnectung to take it on the go is a breeze. Only problem is sliding the part on the joy cons that make them hand held. You have to make sure U match the + and -. My daughter didn’t know and we had the hardest time trying to slide it off.

I'm a big fan of handheld gaming. DS, PSP, 3DS, and even the Vita are among my most-played game systems - and that says a lot. If you prefer the biggest, best graphics possible then this isn't the system for you. If, like me, you prefer flexibility and convenience then this is a great choice. (Personally, it's worth buying for Breath of the Wild alone for those without a Wii U.) Looking to the future, the library will be great, even if the launch period is pretty slim. (Not that it's any different than other console launches.) While the Switch may be underpowered if you look at it purely as a home console, it absolutely destroys the handheld market as it is today. Temper your expectations accordingly. Features and OS are light for now but are also planned to be more robust. If you're a fan of Nintendo's first-party games, then this is a no brainer; all Wii U production and soon all 3DS production teams will be making games just for this one system. This will also likely become the go-to console for smaller Japanese developers, much like the 3DS and Vita before it.

I bought this for my fiance but to be honest I use it just as much as he does. Its a fantastic console. My only problem is I don't like how expensive it is to buy additional joycons... I kind of think its a rip off and you're better off buying the classic style controllers for cheaper. Other than that every single game we have gotten is amazingly fun and the picture quality is amazing.

My family love video games, so this was a great addition because of the many possibilities to use this console. It can be a personal gaming system but if a friend comes along, it can instantly be turned into a multiple player console. And the tv is optional, so no more fighting for turns for the t.v.

My son has been playing his switch every day since I got it for him for his birthday. Perfect birthday gift for a 5 year old. WOW!! Absolutely amazing
