It is so nice to have a console that provides more games for multiple users instead of single player or only online multiplayer. The controller is to small for me so I bought a regular controller. Unlike other consoles though no games are included but has two controllers to start with.

It's a hot console and I have a fun time playing with my girlfriend and fun with other friends for group games

This is a great system for people of all ages! Any nintendo fan will love it!

Since purchasing my Nintendo Switch last month I have already logged countless hours into Zelda:BoTW and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The system is a technological wonder and the transition from handheld mode to tv mode is seamless. At the time of this review there aren't a whole lot of games available, and most of the good ones that are available are also available on the Wii U. Unless you are a die hard Nintendo fan you are probably better off waiting until the holiday season when there will likely be bundles with free games in addition to a larger game library. As it stands right now this is a $300 Zelda machine. Pros: - Handheld and home console in one - Two joy cons (controllers) can be used for split screen so no additional controller purchase is necessary - Free online play until 2018 (then $20/year) - 1080p in tv mode, 720p in handheld mode Cons: - low battery life (~3 hours) - accessories are stupid expensive - 32gb built in memory so additional storage needed if planning to download games - most of the good games around launch also available on Wii U

All of my other grandchildren got a switch for Christmas. The youngest is only 4 so he didnt get one. So for his birthday, i decided he needed one. He loves playing it and we love that we can connect it to the television so all the grandkids can play together.

I believe switch is best gaming console period due to portability and available games.

Its great. Definitely not for toddlers but still easy enough for a game or two.

You should buy this for Mario and Zelda. That's really all that matters and you can stop reading here. However I will go on to criticize the machine itself a little. I wish it wasn't so underpowered. Personally I don't care about the portability and mine has never left the dock. I would have preferred a more capable TV based console. The new pro controller is great but it makes this a $370 console if you want a proper controller. As far as games, its future looks brighter than the Wii U and maybe even the original Wii. However this is still looking like another Nintendo console where I'm going to buy less than 20 games for it over its entire life cycle. Compared to the SNES and N64 where I own 50+ high quality titles for each. The only worthwhile games so far are from Nintendo. Everything else is an indie game that you can eventually get for $3 in a Steam sale, is available on PS4, or a disappointing port of an older title.

The kids really like this which works great! They play it all the time.
