The joint buckle allows full control over the angle you want to be shooting. Because it can full 360 rotate an be tilted fairly high up & down, I find it to be my usual gopro mount for any wheel I want to place it on my motorcycle. The joint ball may be very stiff in beginning to set in place. But it will stay in ur desired position even through moderate to hard vibrations

So glad to see a mount that turns easily, versus trying to put the connections together in a way that points the right direction

I picked this out because I wanted a simple mount that would swivel, instead of having to adjust TWO mounts to achieve the versatility a swivel provides. It took some more strength to move the swivel around, or to break it in, so you can move it your desired position.

I purchased this for my window mount so I could adjust the angle of the camera since all windshields are curved and the adjustments on the mount didn’t allow enough movement. It works great however it is a bit tight in the swivel. After time I assume it will loosen some. It worked great on the tripod.

I keep saying I'll be adventurous and use this for what it was intended for, after all it does come with a water proof case! However, my GoPro is saving my life with my father. You see my father has Alzheimer's and this little camera helps me make memories with my dad. Each and every visit with dad is recorded on the wide angle, which is helpful to show the entire room we are hanging out in or when I'm driving him around in a car! The GoPro suction cup is also glue tight to my window so I don't have to worry about it Falling and breaking this little gem. I attach the camera to a GoPro tripod and just put it on the table during my visits with dad. It's small enough not to be worrisome to my father and perfect for preserving our memories together. I was hesitant at first spending so much money. But after I was falsely accused of things during my visits with my father, I knew this GoPro was well worth the buy! It's saved me!!!! Wondering why they have not made this few years ago for the earlier go pros. Helps a lot with many shots.

The swivel mount just gives you that small but significant capability to customize the shot.

This gives you flexibility with the various GoPro mounts. It is stiff and a bit difficult to move but it wont move once its set either. Thats a good thing though. I use this a lot in many set ups for shooting video.

I always liked go pro and I bought this with the drone and the karma and I love it it’s really amazing the quality... I dive with this camera a lot of time at 60+ meter deep and no issues works great quality great

This ball knuckle joint is an awesome buy. This one item will replace the majority of the joints that you buy as you can angle your gopro in various directions. It's an excellent buy for your money.

This small mount gives you the ability to turn your camera or whatever you have set up in a 360 degree rotation and with left, right, up, and down adjusting giving you total control of the direction of your swivel.

It's slightly taller than the piece that comes with the camera but sometimes you just need a touch of tilt or turn to make the shot go from great to perfect. This is the upgrade you are looking for.

This is my favorite Camera base. Anytime I need to mount my GOPro to any attachment, I'll use these swivel mounts. The regular base mounts just dont do it for me unless I'm doing high speed footage.
