It will not move around unless you force it to. Yes that's right. It takes a bit of force to move it so if you use this on a sticky mount it might just unstick your mount before it moves. It works as expected otherwise.

I had bought the wrong suction cup mount for my GoPro and couldn’t make it point in the direction I wanted. So instead of returning it I bought this swilve and now I have a dual action suction mount. Love it.

Good for getting various different angles when you’re filming.

already have one (also purchased at BestBuy) I needed another one for an additional camera I picked up. This mount is a must-have in a collection of mounts, it is a workhorse in my collection.

I feel that this joint is pretty good over all. The ball joint tension is pretty tight. But after several uses, I can tell that its going to get loose over time. I wouldn't recommend using this with any type of fast and jerky movement since you cannot lock down the joint at any angle. i think that this can certainly be improved for as much as it costs. The lock in foot part is kind of a disappointment. They should have designed it so you can interchange it with other joints as well. The rotation axis range is limited. I wish it could bend near 90 degrees. Works well with the goose neck attachment but you're going to have to shell our more cash to get the angle you want. I do recommend this to anyone looking for the angles but I would tell them to wait a little bit longer to see if they improvement in the near future.

At first, I thought the swivel mount would be to stiff to swivel, but after attaching it to my camera and the suction mount, I felt that the swivel mount worked like it was designed to work.

I got the Ball Joint Buckle for the Gopro from Best Buy and it has been very beneficial. My husband uses it on his Harley- Davidson Sportster on bike runs for multiple things. I would strongly recommend getting this for any go pro!

I had not intended to go to the store to get this specifically - but happened to notice it in passing. The idea of having a ball-joint mount seemed so obvious, how has it taken GoPro this long to think of this?! Overall, it's good, but it could be improved. The joint itself is a bit stiff, which is both positive and negative; it prevents the camera from slowly drooping back toward the earth but it also is much more stiff than it needs to be. When I first got it, I expected it to easily rotate, but it resisted. In fact, it resisted enough that I had to take a close look at it, with a thought that maybe somehow they managed to package the wrong product in the ball joint packaging. After a bit of muscle it did finally turn, and bit more muscle it turned again, and now just requires a little muscle to turn as needed...but that little bit is a bit more than I would expected (a small child probably could rotate it...that...or I am just stupid weak)

This allowes you to get perfect angle with your go pro with out all the extra arms. Holds where you set it and stays there. I have gone over 125mph With it mounted on the front of a bike and it didn't shift one bit.

Great for use on bicycle to get shots to the sides

I love this mount because it allows you to swivel any which way necessary to capture the footage you’re looking for. I love GoPro.

Makes your camera move with ease. Always have this mount on. Would definitely recommend for ppl who have to change camera angles on the go (I ride a motorcycle).

Its a nice solid mount that gives you just that "little" bit more flexibility

The mount that comes with a GoPro is functional, but you had better be sure your aim is perfect the first time you glue that pad down. Not quite right? Buy this mount and gain rotation and a bit of tilt to get the framing you want.

This is great for mounting on a non-level surface. I would have preferred a variable tension adjustment on the ball joint as I see this possibly moving during hard impacts and loosening up over time. Overall a good solution so far.

Even though it is hard to move around at first, this did the job I wanted to. I attached to a mount on my messenger bag body strap and made the correct adjustment and now I have a chest mount view. I been using it when I walk around places.

It seems to really work well, however in hindsight it was a waste of money. I must have 20 different types of the arm connectors from past GoPro's and different mounts. Really if you just use two connector arms you can get any type of x/y rotation you would need. Also one downfall is that if you are using it with a tripod, and you level the tripod the camera likely won't be perfectly leveled which really you might not even notice, but still, you'd be better off with the original connector that the camera comes with.

Mount has held up well after over a year. I thought the plastic might break, but this thing has been an ox of a mount and reliable.

This makes it very easy to adjust for the perfect angle without adjusting the entire mount and still holds tight. Not sure how well it would stay in place for extreme movements
