Great Alternative to Steam Machines! Flexibility and alright power, with the ability to upgrade as necessary.

I purchased this computer as part of black Friday sale, and let me tell you, it is incredibly impressive. For the price, the performance is amazing. All the steam games that I play work amazing, with incredible graphics. The computer also performs basic daily tasks extremely fast. The setup was as easy and simple as could possibly be. They make everything ready to go. It even came with a Microsoft xbox controller for windows that works very well especially in Big picture mode. It also includes a wireless keyboard and trackpad which also has a built in led flashlight (pretty handy). I have yet to find any cons with this machine. It is powerfull, quiet, and is a great alternative to xbox or ps4. It can do everything those machines can do and then some. I highly recommend this computer.

It does what it says on the tin. Obviously you can spend a lot more for a gaming PC, and if you're willing to do so you will get better performance. This machine, though, can play just about anything at a decent framerate on high to medium specs. I am playing The Witcher 3 right now on my TV at 1080p, and it looks good and plays great. If you're mostly used to doing your PC gaming on a laptop, like I was, this will be a huge step up. The black color and shape of the Vapor makes it fit in well with my media center. It is large and somewhat inelegant, so don't order it expecting a PS4. It's built to be upgradeable, and that comes at a certain price in regards to size and overall hardware design quality. I was pleasantly surprised that my Vapor came with a 360 controller rather than the lower-quality Logitech listed on the box. I've never had any reason to use the QWERTY keyboard, but from what I've heard from others it works fine. The only time it might be a little bit of a pain is during setup, or obviously if you decide to use this for productivity rather than solely for gaming. If you aren't used to tinkering with PCs, I might recommend asking a tech savvy friend to help you with the initial setup. While it's not too difficult, Windows 10 as an OS was obviously not built to be a TV gaming platform. I made some adjustments so that it would immediately boot into Steam Big Picture rather than a login screen at startup, as normally all I want to do is grab the controller and go. I also needed to mess around with the screen settings both in Windows and on my TV to get them to line up. But hey, Steam is a great platform for buying and playing games. While this runs you a little more than a PS4 or XBOX One, I argue that it will give you greater value on the whole, as the same games on PC tend to be more affordable. Also, when its time for an upgrade you can switch out parts rather than buying a totally new machine. If you are like me and looking for a simple point of entry on what can be a bit of an overwhelming market, you can do a lot worse than this.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the games I have played on this machine it handles several titles that I was expecting it to. And the ones that I expected to be a hurdle that the stock specs couldn't handle are already going to be upgraded with higher end parts, such as an AMD FX-8350 and GeForce GTX 970. However a few nuances you'll have with this device if you buy a cheaper model and upgrade it is that the pc is packed. There is hardly any wiggle room in this case making it a bit of a chore to get to components like CPU, Ram, PSU, etc. Also there are hardly any videos on how to open up this machine which is a real headache. And lastly the heat distribution is not stellar, there should be bigger holes on the top and bottom to allow for more air traffic through the case because you will feel the heat when you are taxing this system. All in all, if you go in knowing what you want out of this then you should be very pleased with your purchase.

great pc I was really surprised how well it runs my games and the pc looks really sweet. the best part of it I can run any of my steam games so much better then my old pc. all in all I would most definitely stay with cyber power pc for all my gaming pc needs and get them from best buy.

First off, I ordered this gift because another PC I ordered from a different vender changed their delivery date from December 14th to January 15th, waaay past Christmas. In a hurry we ordered this one to be a gift to one of our kids on December 15th to be delivered on December 23rd with expedited shipping. Cutting it close, but it was before Christmas. Long Story short, Best Buy Changed their delivery date to the middle of January the day before it was supposed to be delivered. I canceled the order of course, again. I few days later I got an order notice from Best Buy saying the a purchase had been made on my account. After some investigating, I found that this system was gifted to me and my family. I am a Bust Buy customer for life now. As far as the system goes, I added a 1TB drive to it. you have to mount it 90 degrees compared to the OEM drive or they both wont fit. If you get a SSD , positioning won't matter as much. I also had to use a L terminated Sata cable to get past the powersupply. It comes with a very small, but nifty wire-less keyboard. Make sure to charge it first. It also comes with a Xbox 360 controller and not the Logitech controller shown. The colors can be changed easily with a button on the side.

I bought this computer solely to be my gaming computer and it is great! The start up is fast and the graphics are amazing. Great price and great investment. I would recommend that you buy!!

In the beginning I had trouble connecting my machine to a monitor as it wouldn't show anything, but after a while it started working. I've had it for a day now and it runs all games I've played so far on medium to high settings no problem (SMITE, Robocraft, Minecraft, and Left 4 Dead 2). Also got it on sale so that's also a bonus.

this thing is terrible, the unit comes with 2 long antennas for wifi and it can only achieve 1-3mbps and will only sometimes act normally, this means downloading games is painfully slow and playing online is impossible because it just lags out. every other device I have gets 30mb+ in the same area! I regret buying this!
