Mom's Verizon prepaid phone stopped charging so I decided to try a T-Mobile prepaid because it was so inexpensive. Ordered it in March, activated it in May and just a few days ago the beginning of June tried to charge it and it wasn't working. Called Kyocera and was told to send it back and they would check it. My hubby told me to just throw it away since it didn't cost that much, the shipping to Kyocera would cost more than getting a new one. Decided to take off the battery one more time and a miracle happened it started working again. Today I tried to turn it on again and it's not working.

it is what it is. Nothing fancy. Simplistic. If you just need something to talk on, this is it. This is when cost supersedes quality.

Purchased this phone for a relative in a nursing home. It's basic and exactly what was needed to keep in touch with relatives and call for rides to and from appointments and just about any other need a landline would offer. It was much cheaper than installing a land line in the room. We plugged in all needed phone numbers for calling . As well as setting a ring tone and basic voicemail password . So that if they wanted to and didn't know how to , anyone visiting could check the voicemail. We buy the refill cards for this plan. Which helped with peace of mind of the relative ( they still firmly believe cell phones costs are through the roof) for less than $50 out the door with mins. This is a good buy.

I like this plain cellphone. Bought this for my mom. The only thing is on this product spec, it doesnt say it only carries slim SIM. I wanna keep my existing normal SIM. So have to return.

I bought a Kyocera Rally on February 12th. 2016. On March 2nd, with no warning, it completely died - wouldn't boot up, wouldn't charge, wouldn't show any signs of life whatsoever. Just after it passed the acceptable amount of time for a refund, it died. So I had to talk to two representatives and basically beg for a break just to get what amounted to well under ten dollars of store credit because the store didn't have a replacement in stock, and all this after I spent about eleven hours manually entering 592 contacts into this train wreck of a phone.
This was easily the most frustrating experience I've ever had with a cell phone, and I would encourage anyone reading this to not only avoid this phone, but to avoid Kyocera products altogether. My very first cell phone was a Kyocera Slider back in 2005, and it didn't last much longer than the Rally did. When I saw the Rally was on sale for more than half off and it was just what I wanted (Internet capable but without bells and whistles or a touch screen), I decided to give Kyocera another chance. Big mistake. Learn from that mistake and don't repeat it. Avoid this piece of garbage at all costs. You'd be better off with two tin cans and a ball of string.
