Can't return to playlist without shutting the phone completely off. T-Mobile sometimes converts incoming texts to picture then charges 95 instead of 11 cent. Phone doesn't lots of stuff sometimes when you think its off its on. My wife went thru 50 bucks of minutes in a two week period instead of three to six months. Battery power saver is a must ...turn it on or recharge every 8 hours. Even it the battery saver on you have to disable the touch screen with the side button and the phone calls come through anyway. Wish I could afford a more expensive phone. BUT for the price it ain't all bad. The no contract with T-Mobile is better than the free phone with a two contact for what we use them for.

I read a lot of reviews before I bought this phone. Overall I'm happy with phone. Easy to use sound quality good. I'm not getting the battery life others are getting. Perhaps I have things running in the background I'm not aware of. I would buy this phone again. Grat buy. I like it better then my iPhone I have for work

The phone is great. It's lightweight, durable, easy to use, not too big, and it looks great. I would place it higher than the Iphone.

I purchased this no contract phone from Best Buy on Thanksgiving for $70 and have been very pleased with it since.
The phone is slightly big compared to my earlier android phone (Samsung Exhibit II 4G), still feels comfortable to the palm. The speed is quite good and a fully charged phone lasts me 2 days, which is a great improvement over my last phone which would not last me even 2 days. The sound quality is terrific, camera is good (no front facing camera or flash).
This phone uses a micro SIM card. But its included in the package, and you can transfer your existing T-Mobile number to the new SIM.
I'm frustrated with the limited number of applications on the Windows Store. I hope Microsoft is reading this!

This is a good phone for the price. Its easy to learn and use and I've found I like WP8 more than I thought I would. The screen is responsive and I've had very few problems after having the phone for about a month now. Unfortunately, the battery isn't always the best and the phone has shut down unexpectedly on me a couple of times when trying to open an app, but nothing major. I think it's mostly the result of the battery getting low. The app store is also a little limited, but you can find most of your basics there and the phone is very functional. Overall, I have been very pleased with the phone and have had very few problems. I think its a great phone, especially for beginners since it is so easy to use, but anyone could really appreciate the functionality of this phone and I would highly recommend giving it a try.

The price was good for the features that this phone has. The battery life is not as good as my old phone. Also, I had to return the first phone that I purchased, because the volume control feature was broken (appeared to be a defective button from the factory).

An all around great phone. As a 1st time smart phone user, the choices were overwhelming. After considerable research I decided on Windows VS Android since I'm not particularly interested in adding hundreds of apps and more concerned with ease of use and practical application. Though a bit of a technophobe, I had this beauty figured out in no time. The battery life might be an issue for compulsive users, as could the camera quality and function, though I personally don't have anything else to compare either to. Overall, couldn't be happier with my selection!

Awesome phone. Easy to use. Slim, lightweight. Affordable. I just wish there was more internal memory, but hey for $70 that's nothing really to complain about. I got it initially because my old phone died and this was the cheapest phone. I loved it, very practical, then my cousin got it from seeing my satisfaction for his family, and I just bought it for my parents who are not computer literate. After a few training sessions, they are able to use the phone and are happy.

Pretty happy with this phone so far. Its not perfect, but it is easy to use and you can access your email, texts, and the internet with relative ease. The one complaint I have is that it can freeze up and shut down unexpectedly from time to time. Apart from that, however, there is plenty of storage on the phone and it has worked out well.

When my wife suggested this phone I was skeptical as I was an android user and wanted another android phone. We had already gotten this phone for our kids for Christmas and I needed a new phone desperately and figured the price was worth the risk. Turns out I absolutely LOVE this phone and have been telling everyone I know to get one. I especially like the GPS app. The one I had on my android phone would lose signal constantly in the middle of driving which made long trips miserable. This one gets me where I need to go without ever needing to search for the signal in the middle of the route. I also like the voice texting. It recognizes words with very little mistakes and makes hands free texting while driving much much better. The phone is very easy to use and the sound quality is great.

After using a LG Optimus phone with a Virgin Mobile plan for a long time, it was time to get a new phone and service. Not the greatest tech, but it does what it was intended. I can hear calls clearly, listen to music, browse through the web, download apps and play games. All for a low price of a $30 plan (for new customers though). I'm really satisfied with this phone and being able to link it to my Xbox Live Account is a plus.

The phone has fully functional Windows 8. I have had no problems with it at all. I'm not much of a camera user, so I don't mind that there's no flash. I put the phone on my regular plan even though it was bought as a prepaid. All you have to do is call the carrier. This is a great phone for a fraction of the price of a Samsung or iPhone smart phone.

I picked up this phone in store for two reasons:
1. I needed a quick on-the-go phone that included some call time and also a data plan.
2. I wanted it to be a smartphone with a touchscreen.
I was pleasantly surprised when this phone exceeded my expectations and did not make me miss my regular Galaxy S3.

This cellphone is one of the best I have had in recent times. The best part for me is the battery life. I use a samsung galaxy s3 phone and have to charge it everyday, sometimes 2 times a day. But this Nokia lumia 521 can go on just 2 or 3 charges for the whole week, even with video usage, internet browsing, music, etc. The display is clean and neat. Though some people claim that windows 8 phones are difficult to use initially, with just a little playing with, you easily get use to it. Camera is very good with a 5MP. Nokia still has it, and I am looking forward to the next big thing from Nokia, the lumia 1520. Oh by the way, it comes with inbuilt Nokia GPS. You do not need data to use your GPS! Even a prepaid Nokia lumia can take you anywhere you want, without any data service from your provider. (You need to download the maps first from you wifi before you can use this feature)
