It's cheap smart phone in market. Only drove back is not many apps available for windows phones.

There's a reason why Windows 8 operating system is number three in the smart phone world. (waves bye bye to Blackberry as its existence on this mortal coil is for long). It's an attractive operating system while remaining quick and stabile. The screen is bright and clean (if not super HD). The buttons are placed in easy to reach/convenient locations for regular length fingers (though the camera button is slow to switch on the camera itself - frustrating but can be worked around by just clicking the camera icon on the screen). The biggest weakness of the OS: The WIndow app market is the least populated of all four of the major app worlds.

Love this phone. Recommend it for everyone, the price was right got it on sale picture is great on it and it is easy to use.

I have never had a windows phone and needed a prepaid phone pretty quick. I saw the Lumia 521 on the self at Best Buy and picked up. It has served me very well. The cell reception is top notch, the voice and sound quality are great as well. I used the phone for basic calls, streaming pandora, and email. The batter easily lasts a day. The only downside in my opinion is that the back of the phone is plastic and can pop off easily if the phone drops.

This phone is almost the perfect size for carrying in your pocket. With Windows Phone 8 I get access to my email, Facebook, Spotify, and all other applications that I need. In addition I use the Nokia GPS and maps programs whenever I travel. In fact I no longer have a GPS in my car, I use the phone. Other people spend as much money on a protective case for their phone as I did on this phone--what a bargain.

I have really enjoyed this phone and the picture quality is amazing but I wouldn't expect anything less from Nokia . At first I was a bit hesitant about the phone, being that it was a windows phone and I had only owned android plus the phone having no flash wasnt helping ,but it exceeded my expectations . the windows os is really nice the store has a lot more apps than I expected and the picture quality is amazing for only being a 5 megapixel camera its even really good in low light surroundings. This is definitely the best bang for your buck !

I give it a thumbs up of five stars! It was easy to set-up and download apps that I wanted on my phone. If your looking for a slim, light weight, stylish, easy to operate phone, then this is the one! It comes in Black and White.

Great graphics, great phone, great price! I thought the 530 would be an upgrade but I tried it and was so disappointed. Except the fact that it doesn't have a front facing camera I love every bit of it.

For the price, it's hard-pressed to find another option. I have tried a few. This is a good entry level smartphone.

Can't beat the price for an Unlocked T-Mobile phone. Windows Phone 8 is snappy. Comes with WIFI Calling app but have not used it. Cell connection is good in my area. Speakerphone is clear and loud. The Nokia Drive app has option to download USA map for offline use.

I love this phone! This phone is a perfect size for my hand. The camera is great and the call quality is awesome. I love that you can customize the size of your tiles so my phone can have a look that suits me!

For the price, it is an excellent smartphone. Sound quality when playing music or watching Netflix is excellent. Rear facing camera and a long battery life make this budget phone a keeper. The Windows store apps are adequate for basic use, but are somewhat limited. I would have given this phone the full five stars if the Hondalink app had been available in the Windows store. Be aware that you may have Bluetooth connectivity issues in your car.

This is far and away the best value for a smartphone on the market today. Although it lacks a number of features of the premium phones, I have never found myself really wishing it had those features. What Nokia did here is removed some of the less useful/ less used features found on many high end phones to save on production costs, so what you get is a trimmed down version of higher end phones that is perfectly capable of meeting the vast majority of most users demands and at a fraction of the cost of other such phones. Call quality is great, Wifi calling is a huge plus. Picture quality is good but not excellent. This phone has Nokia build quality, so it shouldn't break anytime soon. And best of all it is off contract so I don't need to buy an expensive data plan that I do not need.

Its a good phone doesn't have some of the Android apps I love...and no front camera but I've got use to it n love even before I realized it a easy to use phone

It's nice to have a phone with a few extras, but there are a few things that I didn't realize. Apps are stored on the internal memory of the phone, not the micro SD card I installed. That requires me to be choosy. I have also not been able to download audiobooks in WMA format or using a data cable. I have to use MP3's and download via wifi or they won't work. The radio is weaker than that of my old MP3 player with the same headphones. A cover is a necessary first purchase. This phone is very smooth and easy to drop. I am not the most tech-savvy person and I may be wrong, but the above is my opinion. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a decent phone at a reasonable price.

This is a great phone for some one that does not want to spend a lot but still needs something to work well. The windows operating system although not as customizable as droid is a solid OS that is easy to use.

i got this phone after my daily driver suffered a mishap. I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of this phone! Windows OS is stable, fast, and surprisingly good. The lack of apps was a disappointment however. I have used Nokia phones in the past, and am a big fan of the design and the rock solid build quality. this phone is a great temp for power users, and more than sufficient for those who dont have as demanding a style of use.

I got this for my mom who is 43. It was her first smartphone. It didn't take long for her to get the hang of. It's pretty straight forward. The only thing that was pretty tiring is that there's only one page of shortcuts so if you have a lot of favorites you have to scroll a lot to find what you're looking for. But my mom really likes it. It's a great starter phone.
