    Very good upgrade!

Very good upgrade! I chose this over every other phone that t-mobile puts out (and I can get all of them for under $160 without a contract so that is saying a lot) could be better, microSD slot on the outside, option to set messaging/preset buttons for something other than just two presents (voice record would be cool, coming from a Nokia 2610b, I used it all the time, now I have to go searching for it instead of pushing 2 buttons), screen that doesn't make me dizzy after 5min of looking @ it, wifi & flash both for the camera and the web (yeah that'll happen), option to save pictures/videos directly to the SDHC card. (if the iPhone had these options I still wouldn't get it until the HD capacity was over .5TB)

Great phone for anyone with simple needs

I bought this phone about a month ago today and I love the phone. This phone is a great phone if you're a person who texts frequently. Although texting on the keyboard can be frustrating at times its not a deal breaker in the least. The biggest problem with the keyboard is that the keys are flat and pushing them down can be difficult. I like the fact that there are dedicated smileys, and web keys. Another feature I like about this phone is the bluetooth. From streaming music to a headset or uploading music from your computer its all fun and easy to use. One thing I wish you could do on the phone is being able to listen to your music and send texts at the same time, but the phone doesn't do that. Its not really a big deal but it would make the phone a little bit more stand out if it did. The interface of the phone is pretty simple and easy to use I have yet to go search for an option and not been able to find it. Call quality on this phone is a bit iffy at times. I've been told by several by people that sometimes when talking into the phone it sounds like i'm far away even though its right next to my face. Its not a permanent thing it normally only happens once during the call for a minute or two. I love the camera on this phone it has a lot of features to it. Its like a mini camera in your pocket with settings for different lighting and fun backgrounds. One last gripe about the phone is when you first take it out of the package and try to remove the back cover it takes some finessing. If you're not careful you might snap the back in half. I'm not sure if it was just me who ran into that problem but i'm just putting it out there to be careful. I think this phone awesome and i'd recommend it to anyone who is shopping for their first phone or doesn't want to be strapped into another two year contract with a phone company just to use a fancy phone.

    LOOOOOOVE IT

My parents bought me this phone today. I LOVE IT ALREADY! As far as the plan goes they got me the 15 dollars a month with 10 cents a minute and unlimited text, pic, and video messaging. What else do I want? The phone itself is pretty lightweight. The screen is very big- takes up almost 3/4 the space lengthwise but thats okay. The keyboard is excellent- it has practically every key that a QWERTY keyboard should have along with a smiley key, www/com keys. The keys feel a little tough at first but after a while you get used to it.The camera is pretty good too. It comes with those fun frames to take pics with. The capacity for just pictures is 9999 and the phone has a camcorder too. I havent tried that yet tho. There is a very large selection of ways you can customize it with the defaults that are already in the phone so thats pretty good. There was only one color to choose from but the orange looks good and its only around the circle key and a circle around the camera. I'm veeeeeery happy with this phone and am glad that the timing of the plan and the phone was perfect!

This SGH-t369 t-mobile phone is easy to use. I luv this phone because it was a good buy. Not only does it come with a great price but it is a very attractive phone. It's screen is big and it is non-difficult to use. I find it a lot easier to type messages. The keyboard is fun to use but personally I believe that using it without the keyboard is better. Ex. when I want to type a word that is not a word in the dictionary ( like a slang word such as "tat") it shows a few words that you might want to type. And if you are too lazy to go to menu then all the way to messages just simply set your messaging key so that in one touch of a button you can compose a message. Its very easy. Just go to menu>settings>personalize>messanging key>create a message. I find it way easier to use than going all the way to messaging. I not only love this phone because of the messaging, but also because of its camera. It has tons of fun frames to apply to the pictures you take, and when you want to take a photo you hold the phone as if it were an actual camera. Not only is the camera fun to use but its super easy. This phone is also like a mp3 because you can hold music inside. I have not yet installed music but im sure it is great. I hope this information is helpful. Im sure that if you buy this phone, you will enjoy it as much as I have.

I just bought the Samsung t369 on 8-31-2010 and although some may think $79.99 is a bit much but what you get with the phone is amazing. It's my first phone with T-Mobile. And I gotta say I am very impressed at how well the phone works. The keyboard takes some time getting used to but that's ok. The screen is nice and big and it's very bright. It can hold 200 Inbox and sent messages. it has a voice recorder that can do from what I saw 15:00 minutes. Yes you're reading that right. The camcoder is awesome. Picture quality is kinda bad but hey it's a 1.3 magapixel camera. What do you expect. On a resolution of 177x144 you can record up to 32 sec's. and on128x96 you can record up to around 50 sec's. The video quality is still bad but the audio is pretty darn good. You wont' see this information on any other website. Trust me I've looked and it has about 40-50MB's of space. And it holds about 330 pictures. I love the phone. It's easy to work. If you want a phone without all the complications then this is perfect for you.

Compared to the Gravity One, I love it!!

I am fifteen years old. Before I purchased this phone, I owned the Samsung Gravity (first one).I loved it so much, but it only lasted me ten months. I was in need of a new phone badly, and T-Mobile didn't really have any other new prepaid phones available, so I was just going to concider buying a new Samsung Gravity again. But then I found this phone. It is by far WAY better than the Samsung Gravity! The keyboard really takes a bit to get used to. At first it will seem VERY frustrating, just buy the way the buttons are set up (especially in the space bar) but you will get used to it... It only took me about a week and a half to get used to it. The display is a lot better than the Gravity, and the features are a lot better as well. The only thing I am worried about is how long the phone lasts. I just hope that by the time ten more months comes around, I don't have to go back to Bestbuy and buy another phone. Before I had my gravity, I also had another Samsung phone that didn't last very long either. After I couldn't use it anymore, I got a refurbished one with my insurence and that one only lasted me about two months The problem isn't me, because I take very very good care of my phones. Over all compared to the Samsung Gravity, this phone is by far way better!!

It's easy to use, nice and slim, and not heavy and bulky. This phone is perfect for me. My teenage daughter takes full advantage of the features offered on this phone. She's not embarrassed to use it in front of her friends like she was with her old phone. All I need now is a case for my phone.

Not going to lie about this phone, but it's not worth how much I bought it originally. I use to have the T-Mobile Tap and I had to replace it 3 times because the touch went out on it after about 2 months. After Best Buy stopped carrying them in my home town store, I picked up this phone. And i wish i would have just spent extra money to get something thats actually worth the price. If I call anyone, I have to call them twice before they can even hear me. When trying to send pictures to my family and friends, I have to send them out more then 3 times before they get it without the picture showing up black. The thing that drives me mad about this phone is when I try to send a text out and I recieve one at the same time, it takes 5 minutes to send out the one I was trying to send before I can do anything else on my phone. Not to mention it shuts off when it wants too.

    Decent phone for the price

This is a good phone for the price. I have been using T-Mobile prepaid for 5-years. I like the prepaid plans because once you become a Gold member (after spending a total of $100.00 on prepaid minutes) the minutes you purchase are good for a year. Refilling is easy, on the phone, on the web or buying a refill card at many stores. I do have one major complaint with this phone. It doesn't ring loud enough. You can set the ring volume to maximum - 7, but when it starts to ring it starts ringing at the lowest level then increases and doesn't get to the maximum ring volume until the 4th ring. By then you've missed the call. I buy the phone for two reasons: 1 Making and receiving calls, 2 sending and receiving text messages. If you can't hear it ringing it sort of defeats the reason to have the phone. It does have a 1.3 mp camera but the photo quality is very bad. None of the photos it takes are worth saving.

I sold my blackberry because I decided I did not need internet on my phone anymore and whats a blackberry without internet? lol anyway I wanted a phone with a qwerty keyboard but did not want to spend a fortune on a phone just to text. I like this phone alot however the qwerty keys are flat and need a bit of getting used to while typing.I must say that the space key is the hardest to type in.The phone switches back and forth between screens when sliding out the qwerty keyboard and sliding it back to the candy bar style pretty quickly. The other thing that is a bit difficult getting used to is when your using the qwerty keyboard there are no 2 buttons facing the same way to use the menu and back you have too use the buttons facing the other way. Overall I am very happy with the price of this phone and I think it has a nice look to it. With a little getting used too, this phone is no problem!

    Great Texing Phone

Great T-Moble basic texting phone. Much less expensive than buying at a T-Moblie store if you aren't a new customer (with a contract) or have an upgrade. I am a contract customer but was saving my upgrade for my daughter. I just swapped out the sim card and was ready to go. Easy for a non-techie to use (I had never texed before!). Great phone for the price...we have two of these now in our family. Would recommend highly.

The phone itself is great. Best buy did not scan my phone when they shipped it, so I had to go to the store and have them return it and repurchase it in order to use it. ( That was inconvienent, especially because I purchased over the internet so I would not have to go to the store.) Other then that, we have had no issues with the phone itself.

I purchased this phone as a gift for a college student who did not have a phone. I thought it would be a great way to learn management of personal finances. Unfortunately I could NOT get it activated!! I tried online to no avail. I tried over the phone to be told I needed to return the phone and all original packaging in person to where I purchased it from. (I bought it online through Best Buy - so where's that??) Did they assume I stole it? So I finally got to speak to a live person - or so she says who was completely clueless and wanted me to purchase a new SIM card! Not what I wanted BUT...ok so overnight it to me! I was then told I had to buy it in person from a T-moblie Store. If I wanted to physically shop at T-Mobile I would have done so the first time!!! She also indicated that Best Buy failed to sell me a valid SIM card. Really?? Are they expected to open each package and test activation of the SIM card??? So NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

This was my first time buying a phone that wasn't a handmedown and it's a really simple texting phone. If that's what you want, then this might be a good deal for you. However, I wasn't given a headset so I don't know what's up with that..

Good for texting - like the sliding keyboard. Good size, fits in a pocket. Like the camera. Don't like the frequent error message "Sending failed-Retry?" Don't know if that's a T-Mobile connection problem or not.
