I have a four Tuner box and a 1TB WD drive. I used to use Microsoft media center and a Xbox, which worked well until they stop supporting the guide and I had to manually set the recordings and would constantly miss shows. The greatest thing about Tablo is that sits on your network and is accessible by at all your devices. I use the Apps on android tablets, Ipads, Apple TV, Samsung TV, and Windows 10 machines. All the app interfaces look a little different. It lets me set the shows to record all the new shows or every episode and from which channel it may be aired on. Although I have not tried it, you can access it from outside your network through port forwarding.

everything works well with the exception of adding channels after scanning for channels. After scanning, some channels have a check in the box to add to guide. When I check the box to add to guide list, it will not add those channels. Tech support claims it is an antenna issue, but the antenna works just fine on other devices. It shows a strong signal for the channels, but will not add them to my guide (which is the only way to view channels).

Great product. My only complaint is that the interface could use some more options to make it more interactive and usable. Other than that this is a great product.

Easy to setup. What makes it nice is that a person doesn't need extra dvr's for additional tv's in a house. One tablo is all you need to stream to other tv's in the house. Of course you will need streaming devices at each tv. Just download the tablo app to your streaming device and that is all you need. You will also need a fast internet service connection. It is also small in size and won't take up alot of space.

This is something I worked towards for a long time. The ability to pull in OTA signals on one antenna and transmit it to all my TVs. This device took care of that. I have 7 TV's and am able to access my OTA signals on all using their app on a streaming device (Roku). The DVR functionality is quite good. This model required an external hard drive but the newer ones have one built it. I am very pleased with this device.

After installing our outside antenna it was the perfect way to connect all my tvs and record my favorite shows.

OMG, this device is absolutely wonderful Couple it with a HDD, and you have the best of all worlds. We live in excess of 30 miles from the local TV stations, but with our Mohu Antenna and Tablo, we miss nothing, and if it comes in 4K we get it in 4K. And by buying the 4 tuner device, we can have TVs on all over the house. I can't believe that it took us this long to cut the cord.

I like what I am getting for service, but it is still a bit clunky to operate. It is also slow. I'm hopeful that future software upgrades will improve the product.

Order a few days ago the one has 4 recordings at the same time,…. And love it It works almost out of the box. It took around 15 minutes to download one day data of TV guide and later it took around one hour to download the other 14 days of TV guide. After one day download we were watching LIVE TV. Easy setup Instructions are easy: 1. Download the app from Apple or Google store and enroll for free 2. Connect hard rive 3. Connect TV antenna 4. Power it up. The system recognized the HardDrive in a second and asked to Format – All was completed in seconds taking in consideration that it is a 1Tb hard drive. 2nd it download the updates 3rd It download 14 days of TV Guide [Free for a month] … After that I was watching TV over the air in my 60 inch TV, 2 computers with Windows 10 Home and other with Premium, 1 Android tablet, One Windows 10 tablet , and in two android phones. Live TV tales a few seconds to synch in all the Devices. The quality is Great at 1080p but faster synch at 720p and anyways the human eye is not so perfect. We already did a few recordings and IT IS GREAT. I need to mention that I cut my cable sometime ago and all the programs that I watch are over the Air Local Channels. If all continues like that I am planning to keep it and buy the Lifetime TV Guide for under $150.

Works good. Like it better than DVR that we used to have for cable. Only issue I have had is that I am using Western Digital Ultra passport hard drive (Not recommended by TABLO) because all TABLO recommended drives were out of stock For most part drive works well and keeps up but if you have hard drive under a load (mutiiple TVs or recordings at the same time) drive sometimes cannot keep up and will produce a short skip. TABLO itself is great. No complaints.

Now my wife can record all of her favorite shows! Works great.

This product works great if you are trying to imitate a cable system with local channels via an antenna. This allows you to use 4 tuners at the same time and is essential if you have a bigger family or want to watch and record something at the same time. Make sure to take note that if you want to look at a guide that it is subscription based and not free,

Only used sporadically in my first year, during which it provided mostly laggy performance across a network used for streaming and gaming online fine. After stored in climate controlled environment went to use it against and it last days before wouldn't work again.

My unit gets really hot to the touch which doesn't seem entirely safe. I also have issues with buffering that were not resolved after I connected device directly to my router with an ethernet cable as opposed to using wi-fi. It is still worth not paying a cable company for accessing local channels by using this product.

works great, you need the subscription, cutting the cord

it worked ok for awhile but my tv antenna was week therefore was useless

I am a dummy when it comes to setting up anything electronic. It would have been nice for the directions to be more spicific, such as getting things not included in the box such as the hard drive. It took me several days to get up and running with some help from my friend who recommended it.
