Works as promised. Very easy setup with telephone technical support and emailed links for necessary drivers OTA guide updated daily. Required purchasing a Roku for use on my 2015 Sony (not-so) Smart TV Very easy RECORD and DELETE actions. Also Requires separate storage media.

Sometimes it loses connection with my WiFi but I don’t know if the problem is Tablo or my WiFi. The commercial skip works. I like being able to skip them.

I was hoping for a little better performance and the ability to view remotely without first connecting in my wifi domain.

It's great being able to position this any place where your antenna gets the best reception. I had two external hard drives and formatted them both on my laptop as well as the Tablo format "app" that appears on screen. It never would work with either of them even though it detected them both. One was a Western Digital My Passport Ultra that isn't very old and the other was an older Toshiba drive. If I had known it was so picky about external drives I wouldn't have paid what I did for this product. I can't see spending the money on a specific external drive when I have two in hand. So, kudos for the ability to locate the device any place in the house, but as for the drive issues; complete fail. It should work with any external drive in my opinion. If it worked without having to have a specific external drive I would give 5 stars.

Being able to send my antenna signal through my home network to all my tv's without wires alone makes it worth buying. Add a external hardrive for full dvr function or buy cloud space. This is great for those wanting to cut cable.

It records just fine, and it's a good devise for anyone who's a cord cutter. It does require a good band width for playback though.

This product has worked flawlessly since purchase. I have a good antenna with OTA reception giving me about 50 stations. Tableau allows me to not only record shows and easily watch them through Roku, but also allows me with the paid service to access my library by way of my cell phone when away from home, although I only do that to entertain my grandchildren.

There is a lag time between installation and the OS coming online. Once you get past the issues of adjusting for clarity, the unit provides a great picture. Cold weather absolutely knocks out your reception, so the bottom line is, when it works, it works well, but it will leave you looking at a blank screen sometimes.

Great to finally able to cut the cord completely. My main concerns about cutting the cord were: 1. Need separate antennas for 5 different TVs at my home 2. No DVR option to record my TV shows. This Tablo solves both of my concerns. I only need to find the place for the indoor antenna where the reception is strongest and connect it to this tablo. Watch the Live TV through Rokus on my TVs. So far so good. Recordings are perfect and in their original quality.

Works as advertised. I use it to get OTA channels in a basement location with no access to coax line, and nowhere for an antenna to receive a signal.

I'm not real tech savvy, but setup easier than I feared. I did make a mistake in formatting my hard drive and called Tablo support. They were very friendly and me up and running in no time. The only negative I've noticed is the picture isn't as bright as other shows on my firestick or straight antenna. there seems to be a softer image, but still a good picture.

Good product and meets my DVR needs. The on the go instructions could have been a little more clear.

This little Tablo DVR/tuner works great. I connected it to the antenna in the attic and to an external hard drive, let it find stations and started watching crystal clear tv. I was worried about how well the box would interface with an Apple TV and a Roku that we use. Both work great. Accessing the guide and recording are intuitive and easy. I am very happy with this purchase.

This worked pretty much as I expected, but I had some hiccups getting the app and unit connected. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but formatting the drive should have been easier (e.g. it should be an option). It didn't ask me when I first hooked it up and had to reset the unit to get asked. I still have the subscription, so I don't know what it will look like if you opt out and just use the 'freebie'.

Can save some big bucks on monthly cable bills. Easy to install.

I’m glad we bought the Tablo because it really is nice to have our local channels in a guide format.The picture quality is awesome as well. The ability to record is icing on the cake. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking to cut cable!!

Works fine I was hoping it would hook to all my TVs but my main Samsung I cannot get the app. It is easy to use and setup!

I bought this as a solution for having local channels available on several tvs in my home but using only one OTA antenna. This did the trick. Very pleased with it so far. Also, has a 2 channel dvr which seems to work great. Still working through all the new wrinkles as I prepare to cut the cable cord. This device is a must look if you are looking to do the same.
