I'm hoping this gets better, it seems to buffer more than i would like it to.

very simple to set up. system walked you right through it. all my TV's pick it up, even in a different building. should have done this a year ago.. when we were looking at the it.

Great system once you get it to work. I’ve delayed my review of this product for some time, because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t me doing something wrong. The Tablo locks up every time I open a program to watch once it’s been recorded. I choose a program to watch, then attempt to watch it. The TV locks up. EVERY time, without exception! (Yes, everything is updated. Firmware, etc.) So, I have to power down my TV, and restart. Then, it works. If I get out of the app to watch something else and then get back into the app to watch something on my Tablo, SAME THING. The reason I rated it so low is for the fact that my Tablo does the same exact thing every time I try to use it. This should not be such a burden every time I want to use it...

This is a great way to get rid of costly cable or satellite. One of these, an antenna (which I already had), a Roku, Sling, and Amazon Prime subscriptions give me more than I ever had with satellite for far less than half the monthly cost. Goodbye DirecTV, goodbye Dish. I should have made this switch long ago.

After cutting the cord from cable tv, I still wanted to be able to record over the air tv. The ease of set up and use was a plus. I have had no problems with this device. I will subscribe for the added features that are available during the trial.

Purchased item to record local channels. Great product for the price and works as advertised.

Good recording device for local programs! This was an intial investment, but will pay for itself after about 2 months of no cable or satellite TV! A worthwhile investment!

We use it every night to watch our recorded shows. It works well with our antenna, we also subscribed to their programs guide service for $5 a month and I think it's worth it considerin not paying for cable tv. You will also need a hard drive to store your recorging, I bought one at Best Buy too.

The Tablo really does work. I got rid of Dish hoping Tablo would fill the void, it did. The only problem is buffering. I get frustrated at the many times programs are interrupted. I followed all the ‘fixes’ Tablo gives to end the buffering, but it continues.

Only had this device for one month. Like device since I went cable less, but still evaluating Tablo monthly subscription service. Skip commercial function is the best feature. Accessing the device via my phone from outside wifi is a "hit and miss". Mostly a "miss". If the company can improve the connection from other devices outside of my home wifi, I would rate this product a 5 star.

Nice DVR box for OTA channels. You need a USB HD and a good indoor antenna. I don't recommend the WIFI mode because of lagging and buffering during playbacks unless you have no choice. The box can get quite hot during use for watching or recording. The dual antenna allows you to watch one channel and record with the other.

Working great and records 2 over the air programs at same time no problem. When a third program overlaps the other two will color code a warning to let you know to edit. As described, it works via phone and on Roku.

It's very good, but channel surfing is impossible as there is a 3 - 5 second delay when changing channels. Other than that it has a very simple user interface with a wide range of options. For an over the air DVR this really is the best on the market for the price right now for those who don't want to pay for a TiVo.

This is a great product if you’re looking to record over the air programming. Easy to set up and use. You will have to buy and HD antenna to pick up signals to record.

Picked this up based on reviews for ease of setup and ease of use. It is definitely easy to setup and use. Have had very few issues with it so far and family has adjusted very well to using it. Might end up purchasing another one of these in the future for additional tuners.

I have a couple of TV's in rooms that do not have access to the external antenna. This provides the broadcast channels to the TV's and DVR capabilities to all TV's on my home network. Works great with Roku app and allows the user to use bluetooth headphones with the android apps. Occsional buffering of signal, I haven't isolated that problem. Might just be my net configuration.

This is a great unit. They have updated the hardware and software. I tied one two years ago and sent it back. This one I am keeping. So easy to use and to record programs on. No more running cables in the house.

Easy to set up and navigate. Great for use with my antenna! I was worried about loosing my dvr feature and convenience when cutting my satellite service. This is just like having a satellite dvr!

Weirdly this device seemed to have dropped out when recording AC3 streams, however, upon further inspection of the files I found they played back in VLC. Unfortunately, they would not play back reliably in the Apple TV app.

Easy to set up, great features, works with roku well and allows me to get local channels on all tvs in the house without the need to hook an antenna to each of them. The tablo tuner also has better reception than my LG tv.
