No complaints. I have it hooked up to a Roku projector and it works wonderfully. The only downside is the subscriptions such as out of home tv doesn’t work unless you get the monthly subscription. Don’t really travel much to justify.

Love this Tablo! It works very well with my over-the-air antenna. I just program it to record a program and watch it later. The quality of the recording is excellent too!

Combine with an over the air antenna and get over all the local channels along with a dvr option and channel guide.

the Tablo Lite OTA DVR is perfect for what i need...they have the 4 receiver version but rarely will i see more than 2 shows that i like scheduled for the same time

I was pleasantly surprised when i bought this unit. The out of the home remote access is very good. the is a subscription fee for this service. That is the reason I dropped it by one star. The setup for the system is very good, no complaints here. Very easy.

It's inexpensive and works great. It streams to all my smart tv's spread out around my house. I noticed on my LG tv that if I scroll through the apps to tablo and try to connect I have a heck of a time trying to get it to connect but if I go to recent and select Tablo it connects immediately. I think it's a tv issue since it doesn't seem to happen on my mobile devices or other tv's. I can't connect to it from work if I want to schedule to record a show. I have a TiVo roamio that I can jump into at work on my phone and set to record a show. That could be operator error but I haven;'t been able to do it.

We have been using this for nearly 2 years and love it. We purchased the lifetime guide from them and a 2 TB hard drive from BB - everything has worked flawlessly.

2nd Tablo after the first died after hard use over 5 years. So far, works as beautifully as the first - ideally, it’ll last just as long (or longer). Great for cable cutters needing their live broadcast TV fix.

Exactly what I was looking for in a OTA tuner and with the external hard drive I added it lets me record programs for watching later. Easy to set up and use.

This is an excellent product once you get it working. However, I could not get it set up on a Roku using a WiFi connection - but could for use on an Android phone. Instead, I used a wired ethernet connection to get it set up, then I could use wireless for daily operation, [I have encountered a number of other products for which this is also the case.] Another alternative to using direct ethernet is to use a Home Plug pair of devices (it requires two). Once set up, the Tablo is a breeze to use, and the menu is very well designed. Note: you can only program 24 hours in advance with the free service, but you can set up a recurring program.

Setup was confusing but worked well. I'm using a Western Digital hard drive with no problems. The Tablo app is working with no problems on a Shield Tv, a Roku Premiere, and a Sony Android Tv. The Tablo froze one time. I unplugged it and plugged back in. It has not repeated that problem. I'm still on the introductory month of the app, so I don't know how well it functions without the scheduling software.

Picture quality is good but the device keeps disconnecting from devices. Deleted recordings show up again on different devices. I expect a lot more from a device that’s been around for several years.

Picture quality is lacking. Could not get it to work for the longest time until I got lucky and figured out the light flash codes and the time when to connect the external hard drive. If not working, disconnect everything and connect the tablo back on (without the hard drive). Let the flashing light come a stable blink rate (1 to 2 second apart) and connect the hard drive back. Light should be solid after a few seconds and you're good to go. I have to do this every time the product is disconnected or power is lost.

How simple - attach an outdoor antenna , connect to your internet and download the app. Now watch free tv in every room and every smart tv. I have both Roku and Apple TV and works great with both !

It took a while to connect to the WIFI network, I had to reset the device but once reseted it connected without a problem. I am able to record my local channels now and reply it in any TV connected to the same network

This device works really well to get OTA reception and feed it to all of your smart tvs via WiFi instead of having to run coax cables all over your house.

I love this DVR. The come in crystal clear and I love not having to miss my favorite shows. I got it at a good price and if I needed to I would buy it again.

We are saving $95 a month by cancelling Dish and going to an antenna and OTA DVR! The Tablo pays for itself in just a few months. It's very easy to use and we don't miss our Dish DVR at all.

The app’s functionality vary for use with various wireless devices. Nice to be able to select the size of external HD to use or swap out. Like any new gear there’s a slight learning curve but pretty straight forward except for the fact some devices of better app’s then others.
